  Can any one explain how this software compares to Teracopy? Does it have the same features plus extra not implemented in Teracopy? Thanks

  Copywhiz is not a direct replacement of Teracopy. They both can co-exist together as they solve different kind of problems.
  
  While Teracopy speeds up file copy, Copywhiz provides a very easy way of selecting files from different folders and copying them all at once.
  
  Plus the filtering options in Copywhiz is very useful. It lets you filter by file extensions, folder names, file size and most important file date. You can copy only new or modified files which we require so often.

  I download it your software and I like the way it works but in my opinion you should add an option to move files as well just as an extra feature instead of switching to windows context menu of the cut and paste function. I’m taking advantage of the offer and will be getting it.

  Thanks. Moving of files is also possible using Copywhiz.
  
  It is available as an option when pasting. Whether you want to just 'Paste' or 'Paste & delete' (which is nothing but moving of files).

  I have TeraCopy Pro, which is an excellent program. I have it set to replace Windows shell function. Will this software work in conjunction with TeraCopy, allowing your s/w to do the filtering/selection of the files to copy, and then allowing TeraCopy to do the copying?
  
  That would be quite the excellent feature, but using two sets of software for the same function is not beneficial for me or my users if they conflict with each other. I notice above it's said this does not replace T/C... I understand, but how well do they exist together?
  
  Is there a video of the two softwares working together? Or is the only way to find out to download?

  I notice that when ordering CopyWiz, Notezilla and RecentX are offered at a discount as well.
  
  My question is concerning Notezilla as I see from your website there is a more expensive portable version available. Is it possible to purchase the portable version at a discount with CopyWiz today (or in the future - if I purchase CopyWiz today?)

  Copywhiz does not replace the default Windows copy/paste functionality. So you can have Teracopy & Copywhiz both installed, but use them separately. You cannot select files in one product and use the other to copy them.

  Hi, I use a freeware to copy files from one location to another, how fast is the copy uwing copywhiz lets say on a file of 6go. What are updates policies and on how many pc can be installed a copy of copywhiz.

  All minor updates are free. Major versions will be available at discounted price to existing customers.
  
  If you are the *only* user between 2 computers, then you can purchase just a single user license and use it on both the computers. Please note that this policy is applicable to a maximum of 2 computers only.
  
  Copywhiz speed would be same as Windows speed of copying files. Copywhiz eases the way you select files from different folders. Plus it provides advanced filtering where in you can just copy new or modified files, files of particular type etc. Plus it has very good error handling and lets you skip files on error, skip files instead of overwriting, automatically rename duplicate files. You can copy to multiple computers or folders in a single click and many more.

  I have other programs from this company (RecentX) that I like. They are responsive to issues.
  
  I am getting this, I tried it this week and love it. I often come back to my computer after starting a copying task and found it stopped in the project, waiting for me with an error message.
  
  This can run in "silent" mode and just log anything it has an issue with. It also compares files and you can select whether to copy new files or some other attribute. I pulled together some of my "often-copied" files together and gave them some project names, so now copying is much easier by just opening the project.

  Hi, Why there is no desktop icon to drag and drop files then copy them to a desired location. Because if i have to choose different files lets say located in 2 different drives and then say to copy to desktop or usb key then how to do that.

  Copywhiz lets you drag and drop files on to its window. You can run Copywhiz program directly from start menu and drop the files over the window instead of selecting files from Windows Explorer's right click menu.

  Any plans to have a more elaborate way to manage previous saved projects instead of having to browse the folder where they have been saved to pick one?
  A good start would be to have a list of them inside Copywhiz.
  
  Also it would be also good to be able to create shortcuts directly within Copywhiz to run saved projects instead of having to use the command line and manually create shortcuts.

  I have been trying out all three programs (NoteZilla, RecentX, and Copywhiz), and love them all.  I especially love how I can search for files and simply right click then choose the copy option under Copywhiz.  When I am finished with finding and copying all files, I can simply go into Copywhiz and finish the task.  Much easier than having to make a new temp folder to put files into for copying, esp when the copying isn't to be done right away.  There is a file manager that has an option of dragging files into a temp directory for copying or whatever, but Copywhiz is more sophisticated and saves me from having to have a whole program installed primarily for one option that I really like. 
  
  Gautam, I plan to get Copywhiz, and would really love to get all three programs.  There is just so much that can be done with all of them, and NoteZilla is just amazing ... everyone should check out all three of these programs.  Is it ok to email you after I purchase Copywhiz for a discount on the other two programs?  I would so appreciate the opportunity to get all three, which I normally couldn't afford.   Thanks!!!

  I used to use Pikybasket and this is a nice evolution of that.  One thing I always thought was needed was the idea of having more than one basket.  Example: Let's say I'm going through my downloads folder, I select all the folders relating to programming and go 'copy to 'programming' basket.'  Then I select the movies and select 'copy to movies basket'.  Then I could go to the destination folder and go 'paste movies basket here.' 
  
  That would be a great addition.  Filtering by file types etc doesn't really achieve this as things like movies, apps etc have folders consisting of many file types.
  
  I'll of course be purchasing it in the meantime!

  Hi, I purchased PikySuite in May 2009 when it was offered on Bits du jour.  What is the upgrade policy?  Can I upgrade to the current version or should I purchased Copywhiz now?   Thank you.

  PikySuite had three sub-products Piky Basket, Piky Folders & Piky Tools. We have discontinued Piky Folders & Piky Tools as many features in them already exist as part of new Windows OSes (Vista & 7). And re-designed Piky Basket with a totally new look, easy of use and new name called Copywhiz
