How many computers do you have in your house? You've got your desktop computer, and then there's the laptop. Maybe you have a computer in the kitchen nook, and one in an upstairs office. The fact of the matter is, you probably work on a different computer depending on what else is going on - finishing up a spreadsheet while watching the news or completing another chapter of your Great American Novel on the laptop right before turning the lights out in bed.
The problem comes when you need to get to a certain file, and you don't remember which computer you were using. What you need to do is to synchronize your most important files across all of the computers in your household, so you can get to them anywhere, anytime. The easiest way to Sync City runs straight through GoodSync Pro.
GoodSync Pro easily compares, synchronizes, and backs up your important files across your desktop, laptop, and external hard drives. The app is truly flexible, allowing you to selectively pick which files should be synchronized, and what events should trigger it. You can set GoodSync Pro to sync your files after a set period of time, when you log into or out of your computer, when you attach an external drive, or if any of your files are modified. GoodSync Pro fits into your way of doing things!
Separate your backups by designating them as different jobs - have a GoodSync Pro job for your music files, one for your photos, and another for work stuff. Then, run them as needed, or run all of your jobs at once with a single click!
Even if you don't remember to run GoodSync Pro until after you've left the house, no worries. GoodSync Pro can update and back up files over your local network or the internet, so the next time you reach a network jack or wireless access point, you're good to go!
Do you also offer GoodSync2Go for a discounted price or is it at least possible to order it together with the Bits du Jour GoodSync Pro license? In my point of view, especially GoodSync2Go gives you the flexibility for syncing multiple computers - and wth this GoodSync is really more flexible as other tools like e.g. Microsoft's SyncToy.
Just one more more technical issue: I want to sync only a few directories within my major sync directory. Is it possible to save that only a subset of the directories should be synced? Otherwise, when I create a job for each subdirectory, is it possible to combine all these job to one sync "task" that executes all jobs one by one automatically?
Thanks for your support!
