Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now's your chance. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't wish to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

Its design is superior to the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal It also self-empties which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a little grit. Most robots can't do this. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to determine if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best option is probably one that is a hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house at the same time. They also come with various additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an ideal option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place which many robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones or adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is simple. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. automatic vacuum is one of the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The station's most appealing point is how it automates various tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that does very well at collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price price.

If you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on bare floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app guides you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more modest than other models, with a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs an area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it started.

The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life. self cleaning vacuum offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
