Dylan Be VERY careful when installing this software. If you have a 2nd 'puter (not your main one), install it on that. I tried to install the trial yesterday using Revo and it just went into an endless loop of restarting and continually trying to install this. I don't know why a program that works with media needs to do a reboot to install. Never did get it to install. May be a blessing in disguise based on how poorly the installer acted.

Stephen Warkentien I have been using their flagship product Audials One since 2008 and just love it. It includes the media search, record, and convert functionality of Media Raptor. It was able to find five different versions of a novelty song my mother wanted.

I was surprised by the depth of their search catalog of songs and artists.

My recommendation: Grab this, then upgrade to Audials One when you have the opportunity.

VLM Description says "With Audials Mediaraptor 11, EVERY video or song that you play on the Internet is recorded!" Does this mean that all videos, even those with their own private players, even Hulu shows, are captured?

Can I set the program only to capture those I wish to capture? I can just imagine having to buy stock in a storage devices company! :):)

Sam my two cents after testing the program for a couple of days.

@dylan I agree that the installer does install a lot of registry entries, I guess that is why it hangs with Revo. I could install it fine, but the uninstall process is complicated as even when using Revo Uninstaller, there are a LOT of registry entries that remain and need to be removed manually and the surprising thing for me was that a LOT of registry entries appeared after removing the program and restarting the computer. Now this does not mean that the program is bad, its just that I am not happy with programs that have such behavior.

@VLM I tested recording data from sites having a private recorder where most browser addons failed and it did record the video, however the frame rate was extremely low and the final video was slow and choppy so pretty useless for me. I am not sure if that was due to my computer so I would suggest trying out the trial version before purchasing the software.

I believe that the Audials Gold Subscription is yearly so basically Audials One will cost you $40 each year. From what I can gather, if you are really interested in the program, the deal you get when you install the trial is much better as it allows installation on 3 computers rather than the deal here which is limited to one computer based on the Fine Print.

I hope the vendor replies to the queries as that will help a lot of consumers here.

Tomas Barth I bought it but get problems. At installation it says that the number of audio devices has been exceeded, although I haven´t installed even one audio device.
Next is when I try to upgrade to Audio One it says that the serial number I got is not valid.
I don´t understand any of these two problems, and need information what I´m supposed to do.

Software Babe Well, I purchased this when it was version 10 and I paid via PayPal. Now, I will have to pass on this newer version since there is NO PAYPAL option.

I realize Audials has this discount, but some of us are not willing to pay unless we KNOW the pay site is very, very secure. PayPal is extremely secure and unless you offer that as a pay submission source, most of your buyers will decline. Entering your CC just isn't safe anymore unless you have a pre-paid one. Sorry Audials, you really need to add PayPal.

It works very well for me, even version 10. I download THE WALKING DEAD episodes AFTER they have been shown on AMC, but without the commercials, and from a generic site. Audials downloads the video perfectly, so I guess maybe I do not need v11. That is all I use it for because I do not have cable TV so I cannot record the episodes from my PC. However, when the Blu-ray comes out in October every year, I do purchase them anyways. However, during the summer, I love to watch the episodes again.

Actually we used to offer the option to pay by Paypal but unfortunately Paypal suspended us - so we can't do anything about that, but you can always tell Paypal that you would like to have this option back
