Texting while walking. Texting while talking. Texting, talking, walking and drinking coffee, all at the same time? You're not alone. And that's the problem.

Every time a technological advance comes along that helps you become more efficient, it helps somebody else throw something your way. For every email you send out, you get five back. Every time you text, you get a phone call. And every time you just try to get some fresh air, you bump into a colleague that was so wrapped up in smart-phoning, they weren't looking where they were going.

So here's a little something that can only be used for good. It's Copy2Calendar and it does exactly what you think.

It's a simple, elegant idea, realized with an intuitive easy-to-use interface. Copy2Calendar searches text for a date and a time and drops it into your Microsoft Outlook® or Lotus Notes® calendar. Copy2Calendar searches only the text you select, and it works with text in almost any application: office applications, your web browser, and, of course, your email. Copy2Calendar recognizes some of the sloppiest date and time formatting -- ever. In thirteen languages! Any time you have a date and a time that you need to remember just click CTRL+C+C and your date book is up to date.

So now there's a new skill you can put on your resume, next to texting while talking: scheduling while surfing.

Gerard Booth It would be good if Copy2calendar supported Vueminder. At the moment Ihave to import into Outlook then sync Outlook with Vueminder. I will be buying a licence anyway as its is useful software.

Best Regards

Alexander Deliyannis It says in the website "copy2calendar can create calendar entries in three major applications:
Microsoft® Outlook®
Lotus Notes®"

Which is the third?

Stephane M @Alexander Deliyannis,
Based on the popup you receive when none of those applications are installed on your system, the third one is Palm Desktop.

M M I would buy, but one of the languages (the one I get most appointment info in) is not supported. Any plans to expand the list of languages?
Also, the policy seems very restrictive - not allowing a transfer to another owned computer. Since I would be installing this on a laptop which is upgraded about every 3 years, it is not really a lifetime license.
