Your team is spread out across the country, and sometimes even around the world! Teleconferencing just won't cut it when you need to demonstrate computer based applications and websites, so what can you do? You get hooked up with eBLVD Online Meetings, that's what! It's today's discount software promotion, available for a limited time.

eBLVD Online Meetings gives you the ability to host and record unlimited web-based meetings of unlimited duration, all without any setup fees or service contracts. With eBLVD Online Meetings, the audio portion of your meeting is free, and a toll-free service makes it easy for everyone to join the meeting at no cost. Once you're up and running, you'll enjoy the ability to annotate your screen for all to see, send instant messages, survey for feedback, and conduct registrations to pre-screen interested parties. You can even use eBLVD Online Meetings to give temporary keyboard and mouse control to remote members of your meeting for demos and presentations! Best of all, recurring meetings can be automatically scheduled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis!

From a security and privacy standpoint, nothing tops eBLVD Online Meetings. You can hide your desktop during the meeting, and choose only to share specific applications with your meeting members. During the meeting, all transferred data is safeguarded by 128-bit Secure Socket Layer security!

After you purchase eBLVD Online Meetings, it may be used for 12 months.

R Brown Can this be used for remote control of their screen? Or would they have to initiate the meeting?

Also it doesn't say if there is a renewal fee? The website only shows monthly/annual pricing.

Marv Toyer Hello R Brown,

This service is only for sharing YOUR screen. We have services for remote access into your customer's screen at http://eBLVD.com.

Our services are "hosted", which means that you are licensing a service priced on an annual basis. We "broker" the network traffic to our cloud-based data center -- all connections are outbound. (This virtually eliminates firewall problems.) The old models of PCAnywhere, Netmeeting, or VNC simply won't work on today's Internet due to personal and corporate firewalls, web proxys, and other controls that restrict direct access to a computer.

Please note that the annual service also includes unlimited multi-party teleconferencing.

Another advantage to a hosted service is that you are always running the current version software- including several enhancements per year. One soon-to-be-released enhancment includes meeting access via mobile phone, tablet, or any Internet device.

Alexander Deliyannis Q1: In a multi-party teleconferencing, is there one 'host' assigning 'presenter' rights to the parties, and can any party share their screen this way?

Q2: I didn't see in the website any comparison with Webex, which was, as far as I know, the first such solution, and remains to this day very popular.

Marv Toyer A1: One party on an eBLVD meeting is designated as the presenter, but any participant can have their permissions elevated to pass content (files, links, etc) into the meeting or take control of the meeting and/or teleconference.

A2: WebEx is popular with big companies, however since 2001 eBLVD has earned a large percentage of the SMB (Small/Medium Business) market. Feature for feature we accomplish what WebEx does at a fration of the price using a fraction (10-20%) of the computer resources a WebEx meeting would consume. You can start and complete an eBLVD meeting before you would even get a WebEx meeting off the ground. We compare ourselves to WebEx MeetMeNow here: http://www.eblvd.com/omcompetitor.aspx

Alexander Deliyannis Thanks; good answers, making the product worthy of consideration. Like the Avis vs. Hertz case: the ones coming second always try harder.

Marv Toyer Alexander: You are correct -- as evidenced by the many WebEx refugees we take in each week!

Alexander Deliyannis - Is there any way to try out the service within the time restrictions of today's offer? As you are based in the US (I am in Europe), I expect that a demo is still possible via http://www.eblvd.com/live...px?prod=om -

Forget the above: I just found the Free Trial; don't know how I missed it earlier at https://www.eblvd.com/sta...px?prod=om

Alexander Deliyannis Thanks; can you also respond to the points raised in my follow-up message (after the trial)? I suspect you might have missed these as they are not displayed by default.

Marv Toyer Sorry Alexander - I didn't notice the (hidden) additional questions from before. For specific VoIP questions, contact our support center 24/7 by clicking "Contact" from any page on eBLVD.com.

As far as teleconferencing - if you use our free teleconferencing, you and all of your parties will call into our Los Angeles bridge. You can also integrate an eBLVD meeting to any POTs, VoIP, or other teleconferencing service worldwide - so you can use (and set as a default) the teleconferencing service of your choice.
