Rob User I just purchased the program, and got a message that the license is for 2 years. There is nowhere in the description above that says this is a limited license!

Andreas Stroebel The two years only relate to the update, download and support subscriptions. The license itself is time unlimited.

Rob User I didn't get the serial code for the program.

Donald User I don't like subscription-based programs with an end date if you don't resubscribe. Does the software no longer work after 2 years, or are you just not able to upgrade to a higher numbered version after that time elapses?

Andreas Stroebel @Rob User Please check your spam folder, the e-mail has been sent properly to your given e-mail address.

Andreas Stroebel @Donald As I already wrote, the license is a lifetime license. Only update, download and support subscriptions expire after two years.

Donald User I purchased it. Thanks for the clarification.

Can the program rename photo files based on EXIF information?
If not, what are the chances it will be added within the next two years?
May 12 at 5:02pm Copy Link
Rob User SO this product does not have a subscription, it was a misunderstanding on my behalf.
Still, I did not receive the serial number so I cant use it. Please email it to me asap/

Donald User Use your customer number. You should have received it in an email from them for the invoice. I thought I needed a special number, but I used the customer number, and it worked.

Rob User Thanks, Donald. It worked. I would have expected the company to provide this info with their email confirmation, or respond to my message here...

Andreas Stroebel @Rob I already replied to your query here.

Donald User Rob: I think in the setup program where it looks for that information, it says "customer ID" or something similar. Don't feel foolish, though, as I did the same thing and looked in my invoice and email and didn't find a registration or activation code as such. That's not normally how things work. When I spotted that it was looking for my customer ID, I found it on the invoice or email and entered it, and it activated.

Glad you got it sorted out, though. I bought it "just in case" I might need it someday. There have been a few times in the past when I wanted to batch rename some files. I didn't even try it out yet, as I don't have a folder full of pictures like that.
May 13 at 8:26am Copy Link
Andreas Stroebel @Donald The program asks for the customer ID, which is the only ID needed.
