You think you have it all figured out once you implement a backup strategy, right? But what used to be a top-notch disaster recovery plan years ago doesn’t necessarily pass muster today. For instance, why are you backing up files to a hard drive that’s sitting right on your desk, susceptible to the same catastrophes that would kill your original data? Get with the program with today’s discount software promotion, Filebasin Backup-Gold!

Filebasin Backup-Gold offers you a one-stop solution for backing up, restoring, and viewing your files, featuring cloud backup of up to 30 versions of each file. With Filebasin Backup-Gold, there’s no need to even think about it once you set up the schedule, and no technical expertise is required. Plus with the Gold level program, you can back up a full terabyte of information from one computer.

Best of all, Filebasin Backup-Gold comes with email support that comes with a 24 hour turnaround on every issue. And that data in the cloud? That itself is protected by a RAID configuration, so even your backup is backed up. Throw in 256-bit military grade encryption, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be using Filebasin Backup-Gold!

Please note folks: you can backup either your Windows or Mac computer using one license however you cannot backup both computers in the same time. For example if you are using the product for a Mac computer, in order to use it for a Windows computer you should first uninstall Filebasin from your Mac and then install it on your Windows computer. If you need to backup more computers, for example a Windows computer and a Mac computer in the same time, you need to purchase two licenses, a license for each computer. Also, you can view your backed up files through the Web Portal as well as through Android, Iphone and other mobile apps.

LU Is this a perpetual one year plan, or is it one purchase with a lifetime upgrade?

To backup to a cloud, does the customer need to make another purchase?

LU Thank you for the reply.

1. Because I have not tried any trial version, can you tell me is this a cloud-based product for only your cloud, or is there an opportunity to use multiple clouds for backup?

2. If this is a cloud-based back up to your servers, do you own the servers, orr do you leased the servers? I asked this question, because I have been burned by another service offering a lifetime agreement and they decided not to stick to their agreement of a lifetime service.

3. Finally, the last question. I have seen other services just like this service. So can you tell me if you are the developer of this product?

Kimmo Lahtinen I think on the description there is an error in this:"Plus with the Gold level program, you can back up a full terabyte of information from up to three computers."

Sai User @Lifetime Upgrades: Please find answers for your questions below in the order they are asked:
1. You can backup only to our cloud using this subscription, not to any third party servers.

2. Filebasin has a contract with a leading cloud backup provider(Owns several Data Centers) for hosting data. Our service provider is long established and is in business for many years, and is going nowhere. Therefore, you can rely on us for your data backup needs without a worry.

3. At the moment, Filebasin uses a software developed by our service provider until we develop our own software.

If you have any further questions, please contact us at sales@filebasin.com and i'll help you.

Sai User @Justin Porter: With filebasin, you can backup your External HDDs as well. You can almost backup everything that's connected to your computer: your pendrives, HDDs...etc

LU "Transfer of a license to another owned computer is not allowed."

With the license agreement, are we allowed to deactivate one computer and then transfer the license to another PC in case a new PC is purchased?

Sai User @Lifetime Upgrades.
Yes, you can simply uninstall filebasin from your Old Computer, and then install Filebasin in your new Computer. This way, you don't need to purchase a license for your new computer.

Chris In regards to getting burned on another lifetime deal, I too got burned. The company that owns their servers decided to go up on what they were charging them so they had to pass that on to us lifetime users and they changed our plans to a monthly deal. They had my immediate cancellation as well as many others. I will never trust a lifetime cloud backup offer again as that was a lot of money to waste for what little time I had it. I got it from here as well.
