mactricks I really want to buy this, maybe even the Pro version ($299), but the Mac UI is broken. All the buttons on the left are crashing into, and stacked on top of the other (MacBook Pro, Mac OS 10.8.5)

Constantin Florea @mactricks - Are you saying that there is a problem when running the FlipBook Creator for Mac application or that the BitsDuJour page does not display correctly on your system? mactricks FlipBook.
Anyone on a Mac can install the demo version (standard or pro) and see what I mean.
Tested on three Macs.
The UI needs fixing. I guess that's why it's discounted.
But it's unusable.

mactricks OK, I have been investigating.

This software is in effectively beta - ignore version numbers.
Seems that there is a new version on the way.

Purchasers of this buggy one will have to pay again for new (hopefully fixed) version.

I have been programming and consulting for 25 years in major corporates, in my world that is called "as user friendly as a cornered rat". Once again, try and get it right which is "get this deal" $34.XX. If you reply to this try starting with "how we lost the sale".

LailieT @ mactricks This is not a beta. The software you download here is the latest version. On the top menu, click "Help" and select "About", and you will see the version info.
We have replied to your ticket and now waiting for more details of the issue.

The software is still 65% off from May 23th to August 15th.
