Experience Very nice program, would have purchased this long time ago, this for personal use converting manuals, etc. Unfortunately I cannot see myself spending so much money as _299, besides pricing, I recall there are DRM. I've tested a few similar programs & flipping book is certainly the best I've tried, period.

Tazzie This program is just so slick and has so much that can be done with it! I loved that when viewing the demos, I could flip pages with my mouse wheel, and scroll up or down pages just by moving my mouse. I agree with Bionic that this is the best flipping book program, by far.

I have lots of writing and such in the works, and the handbooks that I want to write for our nonprofit rescue organization would look so cool in this format. It definitely would help sell better for fundraising.

However, the restrictions on their software is very disappointing, especially at the prices they charge. No way can I justify spending so much for so little return besides the software itself.

Another major disappointment ... cool software that would really make a difference, but not realistic.

Alisher I. @Stephen Kreyling You can upgrade the software to unlimited version any time and you should pay just the difference between costs. Anyway you get a discount from the regular price. @Bionic N/A Actually we have very very democratic prices because we charge just for a license not per issue or for a specific time. A lot of vendors make the users per issue and also charge them every month to keep the publications working, or limits the number of publications for the specific website/hosting. With FlippingBook Publisher you can create as many as you need. Anyway thank you for the feedback. Just update the software on November when it asks you to get updates. Harvey Babischkin Clarification - Allowed to install on laptop and desktop - can they both be used? Does the product require authentication? Meaning if I get a new laptop or desktop how to reinstall? I have desktop, laptop, and netbook. Can I install and use on all 3.

Is the product web based? Are Flip books web based or can they be sent via email? Are the flip books self executing/runtime - i.e. don't need another program to run them. I create multipage assessment reports with Access and Powerpoint that this product seems ideal but I need to email and permit others to print selectively.

Alisher I. You can install both to desktop and laptop and use it for the portability purposes. THe software needs authentification on the first launch when you need to activate it using a login and password. It's very easy to transfer the license to the different PCs and we appreciate when the users notice us about transfering the license. The number of the transfers is unlimited. FlippingBook Publisher can publish both offline and online publications and you can share these publications via Internet, CD/DVD, USB drives, e-mail, or any other ways that allow to send/receipt files. The end-user of the publication needs only Flash Player to run the software and they do not need ny special additional software. The autorun file can be set if you are going to share via CD/DVD or any other portable devices. FlippingBook Publisher meets all your needs and I am sure that you will be satisfied and would be glad to new that a huge additional free updates are coming on Noverber this year. Harvey Babischkin If installation needs authentication, and I install on my desktop, my laptop, and my netbook. Do I need to authentic each every time I switch use? i.e. I typically use my desktop at home, my laptop when visiting local clients, and my netbook when visiting distant clients or on vacation. If I use my desktop today at home and my laptop tomorrow and my desktop in the evening and my laptop the next day and or the same day would I need to authenticate each time? Do you need to be notified of the change? How is the product authenticated or transfer it to another computer? There are quite a few others in my organization that would like to use a product like this for we do quite a few presenations to Boards of Education, Teachers, and school administrators and this product would enhance our presentations since often we present printed reports from Microsoft Access, Excel, etc. Thanks!
