Ricky Rick What Version is this - PRO? or ?? ... the reason I ask is - on their website it shows "upgrade to Pro $99.00" - and I see above - here on BDJ that it's free today with the $99.00 crossed out. So - wondering if this is the Pro version because all it says above is: Focusky Presentation Maker v1.3.6

Rick I purchased Focusky Presentation Maker back in February of 2014 at a discounted price. The earlier version of Focusky while limited in features functioned properly on my computer.

However, versions 1.2.2 and above froze my Windows 7 (64-bit) and Windows 8.1 (64-bit) computers immediately after the program was opened. Windows task manager revealed 11 or more instances of Focusky Font Manager consuming almost 100% of system resources; terminating all Focusky processes restored normal operation.

Acknowledging that software bugs happen and wanting to use my software purchase, I submitted a support request ticket via http://focusky.com/contact.html but did not receive a response from Focusky. To date, I have submitted five support requests to Focuksy technical support over a 4 month period (i.e., two via support

focusky.com and three via the support portal), and I have never received a response.

Accordingly, and while I would not discourage anyone from downloading the free version, I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing Focusky Presentation Maker based on my markedly poor support experience.

Norwel Gordon I accepted this offer hours ago. Received confirmation indicating I would receive an email. "Your Registration Code will arrive soon by email, if you cannot find it you can Resend it. " Hours later tried the "Resend it" link.

Still no registration code or other response. Very discouraging.

Norwel Gordon Hi Constantin, Thank you for your prompt attention to my earlier posting.
The reply did come to an alternate email address. I do not know why but it may have been something I did during the ordering process. In any event I wanted to let the viewers know that the vendor was not at fault.

I also want to thank you and BDJ for again responding promptly, by a real living, interested, informed, individual person, who actually has a name and promptly resolves the problem. This is a rare GOOD example of "Customer Service".

Rick Hello,

On August 11, 2014 I received an email from a Focusky representative in response to my previous BitDuJours post and I wanted to post an update.

The representative indicated that three of my five support requests were added to their support system and received a response from technical support. It is unclear what happened to the other two but I suspect that these were the email support requests.

The lack of response or follow-up was attributed to email being mistaken as Spam or a “deficient support system which doesn't provide enough convenience.”

Under scrutiny, email filtering is unlikely as I carefully monitor my SPAM folder and have had no similar issues. Therefore, and giving Focusky the benefit of the doubt, I will attribute my support problems to the underdeveloped Focusky support portal as opposed to Focusky business practices. The representative indicated that they are working to improve support processes.

In fairness and based on this development, I will withdraw my do not purchase recommendation and continue to evaluate Focusky based on future/additional experiences.

Somewhat related, the Focusky representative included a direct link to their support portal; which I still cannot locate via their website. My thought would be to provide direct access to the support portal in the support drop-down menu, on the support page and in the submission confirmation message (with the support ticket ID if not already included). FYI- the direct support portal link is http://support.focusky.com/tickets.php
