CFGuy Hi - Thanks so much for the nice & very generous free program offer. :-) Just wanted to make sure - under "Fine Print", it says "You can install/register the software at any time" - so this means this program *does not* have to be installed and registered/activated *today* to work. Loyal Customer Isn't this a little outdated?
HDR Projects 5 is the current version.
While I appreciate the free giveaway, I hate the registration process at Franzis, as much as I hate a giveaway that is 3 generations old.
I had tried other software giveaway from Franzis in the past, and registered at their web site, but never received an activation code, despite a dozen attempts requesting the code.
In every attempt, the page said the code will be sent, and displayed my correct information (including email address).
Franzis needs to simplify the process. Just let BDJ handle sending the code to users who download the software.
Another annoying thing is that the page switches me arbitrarily from English to German during my attempt to sign-in, or at any other time after I sign-in.
I'm frustrated with Franzis.

Huei-Chin User Last time they gave away this software, I filled all the information many times, and they never send me any registration code and when asked about this, their reply is always "check the junk mail box". Know what? I checked and checked and no email sent by them, but their ad-mail was sent and received in my email box (not my junk mail box!!) during that time and later (even today!) without any problem at all. I suspect they just use this registration "cheats" to get their advertisement to you without giving away the "goods". It is cheating! And Franzis will be on my "warning and bad company" list from now on!!!

Maggie I have never had problems registering any Franzis software giveaways.

I would like to thank Franzis for their generosity in giving away their software. My feelings are, and this is not directed at any one person, is that unless it's something several years old and not that great, and I've seen such software given away by some companies, not BDJ, though, I am just thankful to get something I do not already have. I have never had problems registering any Franzis software giveaways. It takes a few extra steps, but my feelings are, it is being given to me, and it could be Franzis does this to add a bit more security and hopefully prevent their software being stolen.

Per User I agree with Maggie.This HDR projects 2 giveaway is very generous.The help file is comprenhensive, though an expert could easily write a brick sized "Secrets of HDR Projects 2" book.This is a full version where customized presets can be saved.Works fine with the .jpg and .dng raw files from my camera.Thank you Franzis.

Huei-Chin User I'm grateful for the giveaway, but the giveaway is a way of promotion for their "goods", so they have to be evaluated as a business and the quality of their goods. I've bought several software through this type of giveaway (I even pay for lifetime updates!), some are really good, but some went belly up several months later without further services (help and consulting and updates/bug fixes...). That is why I'm really careful about buying and paying for any software without testing it and wait for a period of time to see if this company is good and responsible for their customers, because I can not solve the software bugs and serious problem myself without help.

If a company is not sensitive and responsive to its potential customer, I will render this company a "bad company" and I will put a Big warning sign there, so I will not be bothered with them later. You know although their time is valuable to them (because their arrogant attitude shows that clearly - they think they are beyond reproach, such as the following attitude: I'm showing kindness to giveaway these software, you should be bowing and giving thanks and do not complain if you did not get any....), and my time is much more valuable for me to deal with such company (that is the least I can do as a potential customer)!!!

Richy What's going on with these personal id / registration codes? I've ordered it three times already; checked both my inbox and spam folder, it is the same e-mail I signed up to...STILL NOTHING SHOWS UP.

This is THE WORST sign up / registration process I've ever had to go through...it's been almost a half-hour. THIS SUCKS!!! I might as well delete this freebie because it ain't doing me much good waiting all day to use it...

Maggie I'm not sure what is going on this time. I've been getting giveaways by Franzis through several software giveaway sites for about two years. I love their software!

One does have to go through a couple more steps to register, but usually it goes well. I'm not sure what happened this time. Whether there were glitches between BDJ and Franzis, or one or the other, but I finally managed to get the codes today and the program has been registered without any problems.

Don't give up!

Daniel Bowen I have the same problem as Richy User and Maggie. I have used Franzis Verlag GmbH software in the past and never had any problems. I have tried for two days now to get the registration keys via their website and my emails and nothing has come into my inbox or my spam folder. The program looks like it has potential, but if they never send the registration code it is useless. The weird thing is they were able to send me several sales promo emails about their other software programs so it seems their server is working. I sometimes wonder what the agenda is here. I'm still waiting for the reg code email from Franzis Verlag GmbH.

Dunking Note that if you go for this offer you will be spammed with further offers. The unsubscribe link in the spam goes to a login page entirely in German, so you're out of luck if you think you can stop it legitimately.
