- “I have to add my two cents: I found this editor completely by chance on Iconico's Bits du Jour, and I now use it as my default JavaScript editor. I am hoping that with time, HippoEdit will be able to completely replace TextPad, which I have used for many years, but that has not seen any significant updates in as long. Currently, the lack of macro recording ability and a few minor bugs (like find or quick bar arrows that remain visible afterwards, a bit distracting) will hold me back.
