Sure there are plenty of online maps out there - Google Maps, Mapquest, and many more -- but why are you settling for someone else's idea of what a point of interest should be? You've got your own ideas - maybe mapping out all of your friends and family for a genealogy site, or coworkers' addresses for carpooling, even creating your own map of a fictional online world with indicators for traps and treasures!

With iMapBuilder, you can create your own clickable maps and easily host them on the web! Starting with your JPG or PNG images, you add icons, labels, lines, points of interest, legends, even tooltips and information boxes! What's more, you can even use iMapBuilder to add zoom functionality to your maps. Your finished map can then be embedded into documents and presentations, or exported as a JPG image.

Sometimes, though, you just need a good old map, which is why iMapBuilder provides you with map templates for the world, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Europe, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and more! Imagine creating an interactive map for your website that shows all of the best fishing spots in your corner of the world!

Stephen Kreyling Is this the studio version with 64 maps that is currently listed on your site for the 389?

Scott User This is a fantastic value, what you receive for 80% off is an incredible deal. But I have no need to to make interactive maps for anywhere but the US and on at least two domains. A package that had US maps (including counties) and could be published to at least two domains would be more attractive to me.

Yves Ros Hello, I'm interested in creating maps for some friends' websites that are, naturally, registered under different domain names. According to the terms of your  End User License Agreement for License : «  Each license also grants the rights to embed / distribute maps on equal number of website domains. For example, 1 user license grants the rights to embed the created maps on 1 website domain. 2 users license grants the rights to embed the created maps on 2 website domains. There is no any limitation on number of website visitors who view or use the map. » Does it mean that, using iMapBuilder for such a purpose, I have to purchase a supplementary license for each of my friends' domain name ? Thanks in advance for your kind answer Best regards, Yves Ros

Godfrey Ko Thanks for your enquiry. The license should be registered under the name of the website owner. Therefore if you need to publish websites for multiple domains, you can consider a site license or corporate license.  Or you can take advantage of this discount promotion, where you get 80% discount for each purchase.

Yves Ros Many thanks for this information, Gofrey Ko. Your Bits du Jour offer surely is the best opportunity to get the three licenses that would be required : 3 Single User licenses x 77,80 = $240,40 < $820 = 820 x 1 Site License (taking advantage of the 12% discount offered on your website within the framework of your special promotion). I'll check with my friends.

Stephen Kreyling I still think the vendor needs to list what license this is for and whats included.

Godfrey Ko Yes this is the Studio Version listed on our website at $389.

If you only require the US map for 2 domains, usually you can buy just the developer package (at $79), and on the checkout page, you will get a '2nd license' option for just $39, which gives you license to use the software for 2 websites.  You can then buy individual map templates at http://www.imapbuilder.co...le_map.php

However with this special promotion, it would actually cost you less to buy the studio version. Simply select the '2nd license' option on the checkout page will give you an additional license, at the same discount.

Hope this helps.

Yves Ros Hello, I gave a closer look to your  Unlimited Template Access Plan + 6 Free Bonus Software for  A4DeskPro Website Builder and found it very interesting. iMapBuilder is one of the Bonus Software that are offerd when purchasing this version of  A4DeskPro Website Builder . Is the concerned  iMapBuilder  version the same as the one that is offered here at Bits du Jour ? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Godfrey Ko Yes the iMapBuilder software in the A4DeskPro Unlimited Template Access Plan is same as the one offered here. However please note iMapBuilder is an optional item which you can order with A4DeskPro web design software plan, at 50% discount. While the discount offered here is 80%. Therefore the best way for you to order iMapBuilder is still to place the order on Bitsdujour directly.
