JetDrive has an integrated algorithm that combines many different approaches: It allows us to provide a defragmentation on a zone-based approach (which jkdefrag uses as well) but also based on a file based approach (using the NFTS cluster relocation) and - thirdly - even on a boot-time defragmentation (based on our system device driver).

JetDrive uses a complex algorithm to combine those three approaches, which is also why JetDrive needs a bit more memory and CPU during defragmentation than other defragmenters.

However, JetDrive has an integrated support for importing the jkdefrag option files. Please send me a short email at contactabelssoft.net if you want to use it.

In contrast to most other defragmenters, JetDrive has an integrated boot-time defrag, which allows you to defrag those files that are blocked and that cannot be defragmented by programms such as jkdefrag or defraglr.

The boot-time algorithm even allwos you to defrag your MFT file and all other system files. Those are especially important because they are used on every single boot of your PC and therefore, thy can have quite an impact to the boot time of a system.

Rich OBrien JetDrive is new to me. I downloaded and tried the trial version. I love that it cleans up the drive and checks the drive before defragging. I'll continue using Raxco's PerfectDisk for now.
If JetDrive is ever offered by Bits Du Jour again, I'll buy.
I wish to be able to change the colors on JetDrive's drive map. I want Free Space to be white not tan. I prefer light pastel colors not red and green. JetDrive should have a progress meter which shows at a glance how close it is to finishing. PerfectDisk shows when blocks are fragmented. I'd like JetDrive to defragment the files within blocks. I'd like to be able to rearrange the layout so that Free Space is at the top of the Drive Map. I wish I could to JetDrive
