I would like someone from Bitsdujour to make it more visible that this is not a bundle, but each language has a license cost of $17.99

I first mistakenly believed that this deal includes all four languages, because of the presentation of the picture in the top. It should be mentioned right away in the beginning, I think! Thank you!

JamesCGW The offer email says, "learn to speak Spanish, French, German, English, and more". The website: http://www.individualsoft..._learning/ only has those four languages for sale.

While those are probably the four most popular languages, they are not among the "more" that I am looking for. Seems like a good deal but was hoping for other languages as indicated.

Martin Hack I too only looked at the software because it says they provide "more" languages than Spanish, French, German, English - but there are no more!!!

Dierk Suspect the "more" is their "Passport to35 Languages" software.

That app sells for under $20 on their website.
It is not clear what functionality it has from a quick reading, but GUESS is that it is intended as "Tourist Necessities" - ???

BeehindBlueyes I am trying to download the trial version but it says that it it 1.3 gb and it will take 1 day and 13 hours to download!? This cannot be right.
Nothing takes more than a couple of min to download.
Anyone have any idea's what is wrong here?
And it looks like the file is not downloading at all.
I am interested in this program but I would like to check out the trial version first.

Warren Russell Amazon has "Learn to Speak Spanish DELUXE" with a list price of $29.99 and Amazon price of $17.20. How is that different?

Mark Johnson @Warren - if you click the "Buy Now" link above, it shows that the version being offered here is the Deluxe version (as do the images on this page). If you go to the Individual Software website, the only version that even exists there is the Deluxe version. It appears that there is no version other than 'Deluxe'.

No ,there's no mistake. The download IS 1.3 GB.
I suspect that at one point distribution may have been on 2 CDs or 1 DVD per language.

My d/l speed is not much different from yours.
Although my "normal" d/l speed is about 16 Mb/s (2MB/s),
their server only seems to allow 100 kb/sec (12.5 KB/s),
hence it'll take many hours to download.

@ James Cgw ,Martin Hack and others:
It not only says: "learn to speak Spanish, French, German, English, and more" , in the write-up under Features ,it's even more pronounced : " Quickly learn to speak Spanish, French, German, English, or many other languages",
Yet no other languages are even listed.

BeehindBlueyes @ Peter E. ~ Thanks for clearing that up for me. That is just insane for a trail version. Mine says it will take a day and a half just to download the trial version. I am thinking that this sounded like a good deal but I don't want to do this. If the trial version takes that long, I am afraid to ask how long the entire program will take to download.
I like this site and have used it many times, but I may have to pass on this one, although I have always wanted to learn Spanish. :(

Alexander Deliyannis It is rather confusing that all screenshots show "Learn to Speak Spanish" as the program's window title, whereas the content is French in one case and German in another. Is there an explanation for this? Is it a bug or are these mash-ups to show the full capabilities of the software in one screen?

Chris Roy Jackson Last Septemberthe same two problems were brought up and were NOT addressed by anyone from Individual Software.
1. S-L-O-W Download of Trial (Same FILE today and MY download Time started at 26 hours and after ½ hour NOW says there is 37 hours left.
2. 4 languages AND MORE - NOT !!! ONLY 4 !!
I'm interested in getting the English version for a friend, but I wanted to see the Trial first and see if it will be suitable for him.
Say... I wonder if anyone here has already downloaded it before and could put it on a "DropBox" Cload (or ssomething) to make it available to anyone interested in "looking it over" ???
Just a Thought !!!!

Chris Roy Jackson After 15 Hours the Download of Rial version failed at 57% AND as others have stated, Their Server will NOT Resume a PARTIALLY downloaded file!!!
Well... Starting OVER !!!
tHIS IS PARTICULARLY BAD for such a large TRIAL File !!!
If they want to discourage people getting the Trial version they should just NOT Offer one.
ALSO, it is costing them BIGTIME in additional Bandwidth unless (of course) if they already have UNLIMITED Bandwidth with their Web Host!!!
PLEASE at LEAST add on "File Download Resume" Service to this download server !!!

Alexis Baranek I had mine download overnight since I have satellite with limits to bandwidth. When I click to install it says it's not the right version for my version of windows - which is Windows 7 HOme Premium 64 bit. I have tried disabling virus software but same thing. I wrote to them Saturday - no answer. I really hate to have to re-download it because it uses up my satellite limits. Since it says it works with my version of windows on the site I don't understand - at this point I feel I'd rather have my money back.
