Odin Secure FTP Expert Screenshot

Odin Secure FTP Expert is an FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SSH, and Terminal client all in one snazzy package. With Odin Secure FTP Expert, you'll not only be able to transfer files between your local PC and a web server, you'll also be able to back up using SFTP (SSH), SSL, TLS, and IDN, as well.

Nifty features like browser integration, site to site transfers, FTP transfer resume, drag and drop support, file viewing & editing, firewall support, custom commands, FTP URL parsing, command line transfers, filters, and much more distinguish Odin Secure FTP Expert from all of those other "vanilla" FTP clients! You can even use Odin Secure FTP Expert to transfer large files over 4Gb in size!

Faster than your average FTP bear, Odin Secure FTP Expert uses multiple threaded connections to ensure the fastest file transfers, file deletions, and browsing of remote directories.

Joseph Mayers I hate that i can't see any more more then three days of the upcoming discounts.

That way i can test now interesting looking programs only for three days instead of the usual 30 days :-(

That's why i didn't buy more here as  i had did in the past.
I find this an rather bad behaviour of BDJ!

Sorry, BDJ comes less useful for me in the last weeks.

Roger Thomasson @ Joseph We've never offered 30-day previews on Bits du Jour.  Perhaps you're thinking of a different site? -roger

Jon Koerner The screenshot is blurred and unreadable, even when image is zoomed.

Michael Crosson I tested out the trial version of Odin Secure FTP for about thirty minutes this evening and found this program to be buggy even when performing basic functions.  For instance, after uploading a test file to my website, Odin Secure FTP appeared to refresh the directory, but did display the newly transferred file.  A manual refresh did not help matters.  I logged on using my regular FTP program (WS_FTP) and the file appeared fine.  Also, the interface did not work as expected.  For instance, clicking on the root folder of each directory did not cause the program to display the next highest folder as in most Windows programs.  Apparently you can only go back by clicking on the directory window and selecting a prior folder from the history session.  I also discovered that clicking on different attributes at the top of each folder list did not cause the program to resort the files.  I often find it helpful to sort files by modification date when performing FTP transfers so this a major inconvenience.  I clicked on the help button several times and nothing happened.  Today's sale price for the program was very tempting price, but Odin Secure FTP does not seem ready for prime time.  I'll have to pass this time around.

Roger Thomasson @Jon Unfortunately we are limited to a width of 575px for our screenshots.  We're aware that it can occasionally reduce image detail to an unacceptable extent, which is one of the reasons all Bits du Jour promotions include a link to the vendor's product page.  You can often find much larger screenshots there.   By the way, screenshot size is, in fact, on our future to-do list :-)    -roger

Joseph Mayers @Roger
Not "30-day previews on Bits du Jour" ;P , i meant the
30-day test period of the software, like many authors allow us ;-)

Because i see on Bits du Jour on deals for the next three days only
i have only this three days to test the app before decide to buy or not.

Because this is tooo short, i have not bought as much as i have done last year.

And no ;-), i don't want to register here.
Please consider to change this behaviour back as it was in the past.
(show us the upcoming 7 or 14 days) I know i am not the only one.

Thanks for your response anyway!
