You want to get started with digital art. You also happen to have a very large and impressive collection of digital photos. Now is the perfect time to bridge the gap between the two and start churning out stunning sketches and paintings! How? With Painter Essentials 4!

Painter Essentials 4 is a great photo-painting, drawing, and painting software toolset that lets you easily transform photos into paintings, complete with a wide selection of brushes, paints, pens, and textures! When you're done, you can order prints on canvas, watercolor paper, or other fine art materials right from the application!

Sound hard? It's really easy! In fact, with Painter Essentials 4, you can turn photo into a painting in just three steps! For original works of art, Painter Essentials 4 lets you sketch or paint on a blank canvas, implementing a variety of effects and tools to arrive at a composition that's uniquely you. You can even mix paint colors, just like a painter does on a palette! Plus, there's support for Graphirer pen tablets, Cintiqr 21 UX interactive pen display, the Intuosr 3 pen tablet and the Wacom 6D Art Pen.

Smart Stroke Technology is the key to success with Painter Essentials 4, letting you paint brush strokes over your photo that automatically follow the subject's shape and contours. Seriously, it just doesn't get any easier than this!

charles hedbring Mr Westerdale, indeed I would. I have a neck level C5/C6 spinal cord injury (programsteppe.com, hedbringSCI.com, SegPT.com) that makes any minor hassle for others a staggering hassle for me. Thus, I use bitsdujour, cnet, pcmag, amazon to minimize potential problems via pre-eval. IF it proves an install or use problem, I must rely on others to help me out -- generally on a Sunday planned 2 wks in advance. (It took 27 min just to write this!) Not whining, just the reality.

PJ Rothman To Charles Hedbring:
I have just read through the 1 star reviews on Amazon and many of the complaints are about people not receiving the actual full product of Painter Essentials 4 from their specific vendors.
Over 113 reviews on Amazon it has a 4 star rating!

Please download the trial, you will instantly begin having fun with your photographs.

charles hedbring Thank you. Yes, the review are 99% supportive. My situation, I suggest, is a tad unique should my experience just happend to fall into the 1 or 2 star category. For me, a significant risk.

Nico Westerdale Well I don't know if I'll go as far as Jason, but the great thing about purchasing from BitsDuJour is we have PJ from Corel right here on the message boards Charles. If anything does crop up I'm sure he'll resolve it.

PJ Rothman Jason, it is not hard to find rave reviews about PE4 all over the web. What I would like is your review. Download the trial and give it a spin and let us know what you think.
Nico is very right, in the unlikely event of an issue arising, I can have customer support get in touch with you.

Download the trial or purchase, and I am confident you will not need to utilize our 30-Day Money Back Guarantee.

Jim McGowan Charles, PJ: Also, people (everywhere, not just at Amazon) often don't realize (though who knows why!) that "Essentials" versions of most software is a not usually a "full" version. Corel also sells "Painter" without "Essentials", and that is a more advanced product that costs a few hundred dollars. Essentials is a somewhat lighter version that is aimed at users who are not true graphic artists.

Essentials should be more than enough for most people here. I once had an older version that served as an add-on to Paint Shop Pro and it was perfectly fine.

Thank you.

Jim

Rich OBrien Before you buy, you may wish to go to http://www.corel.com/serv...bview=tab2 to see samples of what look like finger paintings done with Corel Painter Essentials 4. Then go to http://www.mediachance.co...index.html and click on the three gallery tabs to see the paintings done with $49.95 Dynamic Auto-Painter. Notice which software has produced numerous, pictures that look like beautiful, real paintings you'd be most proud of if they were yours. Note that you can download a trial copy of Dynamic Auto-Painter to see if your own photos convert to beautiful paintings. I'm hoping this software will one day be featured by Bits du Jour. In the meantime, if you must convert your photos to pictures that look like paintings, you may decide its worth paying just $10 more.

PJ Rothman In response to Rich, I have to stress that there are only a tiny handful of brushes shown as examples. PE4 provides you with 90 brushes to create the desired effect you are looking for. PE4 also allows you the unique opportunity to take those 90 brushes and create your own painting from scratch.

Rich OBrien It would be good for the Corel Painter Essentials 4 gallery to include many pictures which look like they were painted with tmany of hose 90 brushes. The paintings in the current gallery don't look painted unless one of the 90 brushes was designed to smear paint as in finger painting.
