Do you often find yourself typing the same words and phrases over and over in the course of your workday? Or, have you found that no matter how hard you try, there's just a handful of words that you always mistype? Programmers, do you use the same blocks of code over and over?

Rocket Typing is a text expander application that will help you to work faster and avoid spelling errors. For instance, with Rocket Typing, all you need to do is type in an acronym, and Rocket Typing can fill in the entire phrase for you automatically - a real gem for medical and legal office transcription!

Do you always include a standard boilerplate paragraph at the end of each of your letters? With Rocket Typing, you can insert that entire paragraph with just a few keystrokes! Rocket Typing is an obvious choice to repair spelling mistakes - just configure the program to automatically replace your common typing errors with the corrected words. For programmers, Rocket Typing saves you from typing the same code snippets over and over.

With Rocket Typing, there's no need to change your typing habits! Just enter your abbreviations, and Rocket Typing automatically expands them when you hit delimiter characters such as space, tab or enter. Rocket Typing even displays a tool-tip of available abbreviations as you type -- you don't even have to remember specific ones! The easy-to-use interface lets you add new abbreviations and expanded text as you need them. You'll breeze through your typing tasks faster than you ever would have believed!

Howard Margolis In starting your trial version of Rocket Typing, I keep getting this warning: "Potentially harmful program Hook K." I uninstalled and downloaded the program from several sites, with the same result.

Daniel H I would like to ask the following:
Is it possible to have more than one content under single abbreviation? Would be great for medical transcriptioning, namely autopsy protocols.
Is it possible to have it run from USB?

Hongliang Zhang Hi, Howard Mar
Because the software uses some approach to read your keyboard inputs, so some anti virus software will show the warning in mistake.

Don't worry about the warning, the software doesn't contain any spyware, adware or virus. You can check Rocket Typing 100% Clean Award which was certified by Softpedia at:

Hongliang Zhang Hi, Daniel H

The current version doesn't support the feature you mentioned in the post. But we will consider your suggestions in the next release.

We don't have portable version of Rocket Typing now. So you need to install it on the computer.

Hongliang Zhang Hi, Patrick J.

Yes, The software can't work when KeyScrambler is active. Because the KeyScrambler will block all the other programs which need to read the keyboard inputs.

Hongliang Zhang Hi, YO YO
After you install the software you need to input some abbreviations and its full text into the snippets library. and when you type the abbreviation and end with delimiter character( e.g. Space, Enter, Tab), the software will automatically expand the abbreviations to its full text. The software will show you tool tip when you type the abbreviation.

If you need more help please contact me at support@easy-to-use-software.com.

Sandy Dane I would buy but the processing via regnow is unencrypted - despite nice icons indicating secure processing, you are expected to provide your credit card unencrypted.
