I have never used these languages, but I am 99% sure that their Windows implementation also has a way to connect with COM objects. And in the rare case that this does not work, there is always the workaround to call a command line script (like Powershell or VBS) from e. g. Lisp, and then this script uses the SeeShell API to start SeeShell.

Charles Beauchamp Thank you for answering most of my questions. What about the distribution rights of the ProPlus version. Is there any charge for distribution of scripts AND your Browser so that, for instance. a physician who knows nothing about all this could interface her/his Electronic Medical Record query system (accessible in a few EMR's) with YOUR distributable technology?

Mathias User Thanks for asking. With the SeeShell PRO Plus Edition there is *no* additional charge for distributing your scripts with the SeeShell Browser Player or SeeShell Desktop Player.

The SeeShell Player looks and works exactly as the regular full version, including the API. However, it does not contain the macro recording wizard and the editor, as both are not required to replay macros. The SeeShell Player can be installed automatically and silently from the command line.

Mathias User Yes. SeeShell uses *computer-vision* for the automation. Sometimes this also called "robotic process automation" (RPA). SeeShell can work either on the Windows Desktop or inside a special Google Chromium browser (SeeShell Browser).

By contrast, Kantu is a free and open-source *web browser extension*. It does "classic" automation using IDs, DOM etc. Just like Selenium IDE or maybe iMacros - only better ;-)
