Michael R. Let's say I build my own shop with many articles to sell. In my case, I have so many books to sell...

(a) Can I use wordpress and your themes - this question applies to all of your themes - use completely offline (until I decide to go online)?

(b) Are all of your themes available also in german? Especially when selling articles inside Germany this would be nearly a must.

(c) When finding out after some time, a own shop would not make really sense, is there a way to export the articles to a format, they can be used as an input for ebay-auctions or - for books - Amazon (e.g. by ebay's MisterLister) or as CSV (i.e. is there an export-function available)?

(d) On your website you mention amazon: How would it be possible to connect my offered books with some Amazon-information about these books? Is it possible / legal to set a link to the amazon-information or import some information about a book just by providing the lSBN-number. (Probably this is too specific to expect your program to be able to handle this...)

Thanks a lot...

Michael R. Hi Mark,

thanks for answering the first two questions.

The other two below (c) and (d) were possible hidden by default by BDJ. Clicking on READ MORE makes them visible

Thanks again...

Jonathan Keener I had posted these two questions last November when this was last offered and I didn't see a response, so I figured I'd ask again, with a few extras:

Couple of questions regarding the capabilities of the shopping cart:

1: when setting up products with features, for example color, size, etc., can a separate image be associated with each combination?

2: Can a flash swf be embedded (visual tool to allow feature selection) that could be integrated into the shopping cart selection?

3: For calculating shipping charges, would a scenario like "$1 per LB" shipping be allowed, with a weight of each item stored with the item? So for example, if I had a 5 LB item and a 1 LB item, the shipping cost would be $6. Or if I ordered 104LBs of items, it would be $104 shipping?

Randy Martin I talked to Alex on Live Chat and discovered that this program does NOT have a credit card gateway and apparently ONLY works through PayPal. For me, that's not a problem. But I was suprised that this FAIRLY IMPORTANT FACT is not mentioned anywhere, including on their site.

mark fail Randy

There is no such thing as a credit card gateway, all onlne payments are processed via merchants (such as Avangate) you very rarly accept payments online yourself because of the 100;s of security checks your company would have to undertake.

We have 20+ built in payment gateways more than any other Wordpress shopping cart provider.

Mitch Kite Anyone know what happened to ShopperPress (PremiumPress)? Their website has been unavailable for a while now. I have purchased the software in the past through BDJ and want to install it on another website. However, all of their websites now display this:

503 Service Unavailable
No server is available to handle this request.

Michael Sanders I'm a little concerned about spending money on this product. The demos aren't available and niether is the website. As Mitch pointed out 2 months ago all of the website display the following message:

503 Service Unavailable
No server is available to handle this request.

If you buy any of the Wordpress products, will you actually get anything?

Mitch Kite I did figure out that if you use FireFox, the WordPress site loads. However, it is still a pain that I can't use IE.

mark fail the error is due to some firewall conflicts with older versions of IE, its not actually an issue with the website itself and switching fro IE to another browser will let you view the website without issues.

Michael Sanders Thank you Mitch. The software and the concept is pretty cool but shouldn't a company marketing an interface for a website have a website that works under all browser settings?

Mitch Kite I am using IE7. The funny part is that the ShopperPress software works perfectly fine using IE7. I use IE7 on my computer because my work requires it for remote access to some systems. I agree that it is not a great impression to see a server error when trying to access their website. Maybe they should at least change their message.

Adrian Williams I'm slowly working through the videos and forum to find out if shopperpress can import a list of products. I have a project that has over 200 items, each with a short description and single image. Can shopperpress import this data ? I can structure it as shopperpress wants, for example a csv file. If you can point out where I can find this, it would be a great help. Good luck with the sales.

Lisa Griffiths This looks pretty interesting but what about PCI compliancy? Is this compliant, or if not do you have any plans to make sure this will be compliant?

Daniel Goldman Pretty nice.. is there a developers version? Is this the dev version? I tried to see the admin area screen-shots... no love in chrome/mac.

Looks sweet, I am 99% sold, just need to see the admin screen shots. Looks like a great front end. I looked through the widgets offered too, I saw a target price widget, are there any config your own product abilities (like build your own computer, say?). That's not a deal killer even for $75 bucks, but like I said, I would sure like to peek the admin area before I bite down...

Richard Andersen Not that I'm complaining but when I try to check out, the original price, before discount, is listed as 66.39 USD, not 79.00?

Daniel Goldman I did end up buying this and to be honest, I do not regret the decision one bit.

A licence for really good software that gets support and upgrades for the life of the site. Not bad. I am not clear on the licence tho. Am I able to use this for all my client's sites, or is this fee per client?

GrandMaster So I purchased this some time ago, immediately after purchasing I saw that I did not receive a username/password that is required to access member areas necessary for proper function of shopperpress. (Ticket WXP-806030 on 5/9/2012 )

There was no response. I contacted them 20 days later and there was no response again. Do not purchase this software, your support tickets will go ignored and marked as "Closed" and you do not get access to any basic features necessary for shopper press to function

Petr The promo and website look great. The lack of positive comments and no response from the developer is a show stopper. I would like to see responses to the above before i consider investing my money and time.
