Unlike the vast majority of Bits offerings, SOCIAL PAGE BUILDER is not actually a software for sale and for installation on a PC, yes?

Social Page Builder is a SERVICE that offers access to an online buildr/ creator for Facebook Pages, yes?

If I understand what is offered here, Social Page Builder (SPB) is much like WIX or other online web site builder services except that SPB builds Facebook Pages and costs a lot more than WIX. So, SPB operates much like Involver, Hubzee, or nearly a dozen other companies offering the service of online creators of FB Pages, right?

I assume your offer is for a 12 month subscription to Social Page Builder's 'Gold Plan'?

I presume that the Facebook Page created with Social Page Builder is hosted by Social Page Builder?

Can your subscribers arrange for their own hosting?

If the subscriber does not renew his subscription to one of your 'service' plans, what happens to his Facebook Page? It simply disappears?

Your subscribers never really own their Facebook Page created with Social Page Builder, yes?

Preston Mitchell Advice to Developer-Vendor

Your description of Social Page Builder on this Bits page is misleading and deceptive.

It gives the impression that you are offering a software, not a service plan. Granted, one can visit your web site to discover the truth. But it would be more forthright if your Bits description clearly identified your offering as a 'service'. ALSO, it would be more forthright if your Bits description disclosed the 'level' of your Plan offered (rather than compelling Bits consumers to visit your web site to search and discover what plan is offered here).

I will attribute the shortcomings of your Bits description to bad copywriting rather than to any deliberate attempt to deceive Bits consumers.

Preston Mitchell ON A POSITIVE NOTE Regarding Social Page Builder

I was contemplating a subscription to Involver, which costs slightly more. But SPB's features of using layers to customize a Facebook Page is very intriguing and even unique (as none of your many competitors seem to offer that feature).

I find Social Page Builder to be a viable option. But before subscribing, I really would like to know whether PDF download links and the other page elements cited in my comment above are possible.

Social Page Builder is a SaaS (Software as a Service) application. The difference between SPB and other Facebook page creation apps is the process by which you develop the page. AS you noticed we have a layer based image editor as well as over 200 templates to choose from.

Currently you can set a download link for PDF and lead generation form. We do not use flash in our editor so there are no flash elements available. We don't have a poll tool, but if you use a 3rd party form builder like Wufoo you can develop the poll and insert it into the template.

THE OFFER PRICE CHANGED? From $120 to $10? I thought I saw $120 yesterday. Since TemplateZone sells 'service plans' for SPB, what exactly are you offering for $10?

Oh, I see...just one month of the Gold Plan for $10, right? Instead of the original offer of one year of Gold Plan at $120? If so, your offer became much less generous! (I must warn you that your lack of transparancy won't sit well with Bits consumers. We like to know what exactly we are getting in exchange for our money!)

Yes, I immediately noticed the main difference between Social Page Builder and all of your other Facebook SaaS competitors: Your editor is layer based--that is unique.

I can embed PDF download links and lead generation forms into SPB templates. But I can't embed an animated text banner into a template? (Elements created in another software, of course.)

Justin Rondeau Sorry for the seeming lack of transparency. I know BDJ normally sells downloadable software and this is product is a deviation from the norm. I am curious as to why it is not set up to read 10/month, maybe the BDJ layout doesn't accommodate that.

The offer is still as generous, both the customer 50% on the service. In fact it takes the burden of larger initial payment away from the customer. Rather than being hit for $120 at once, you are being charged over the years time. You are getting the same service, for the same price, just paid at a monthly interval.

The main reason we had to take this approach was due to some limitations between how our user ids are created within our cart.

In terms of the animated banners, our editor does not support .gifs that run animations.

No need to apologize. There's been no lack of transparency -- simply a last minute cart-adjustment. Fortunately most of our customers understand that even lowly BDJ admin must sleep ;-)

Not sure what the beef is here. In terms of cost the offers are equivalent. The only difference is that now you don't have to commit to a year subscription up front. Seems win-win to me, no?
