Brad Is this handbook geared towards those wanting and introductory understanding of web development related to browsers compatibility, or is it's target audience for those with a more seasoned knowledge and application of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?

Thanks, Brad

Daniel Herken Hi Brad,

the book is starting at the basics (DOCTYPE, CSS Reset ...) alongside HTML, CSS, JavaScript and testing. You should already have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript...

Best regards,
Daniel

Stephane M Hi,
Are there any updates once purchased?
If so, how do we get them and are they free?
Thanks!

Gonzo I guess my question is the same as Stephane M; however it was not properly addressed:
If there are new "versions" of the book (ie. revisions where typos are fixed or new editions that cover new technologies), will those be free for existing customers?

I'm not sure how to ask this exactly, but ... how basic? And/or, what resource(s) do you, personally like to suggest to people wishing to acquire such basic knowledge?

Daniel Herken You should know what HTML, CSS and JavaScript are and how to use them, e.g. you already build at least one website.

You can find a list of books here:

barney Barnes Well-l-l-l ... I tried for this yesterday. PayPal shows the amount pending. as of yesterday. I got at an acknowledgement email yesterday. And it stopped there. There doesn't seem to be any today, as it were. A curiosity.
