Louis H I need to play around with this a bit more. Some buggy stuff happening on my machine. (Win 7 64 bit Home Premium 8GB). Other open windows having the background taken over by whatever I am running in the app itself. I had to close down and restart Firefox as it lost some of my toolbars when I started the app. And some of the presets were acting very erratic with and without other apps running in the background. (When I get a chance I will run it alone and with different apps as well to see what difference it makes. I have learned that there are some other graphical programs that I need to run by themselves when I want the best performance, at least on my computer. Sony Vegas Pro 11 and Photoshop CS6 to name a few.)

Nonetheless, I like what I am seeing and am willing to explore the "bugs" showing up on my computer.

If you want to give this one a test run, I HIGHLY recommend following the advice in the video above. Read the manual!

(For $7.50 I will pick this one up - I can make my own coffee for a day - or two.) ;-)

Andrew Gibson Hi Louis,

It sound like a graphics driver issue. You're not running on Windows Vista by any chance, are you? If so, disabling Aero in Vista might fix the issue. If you're running Video Fun Box on XP or Windows 7, then upgrading to the latest graphics driver should sort the problem out.

Usually issue like this are due to the OpenGL acceleration Video Fun Box uses.

Kind Regards

Louis H Thank you, Andrew, for your response.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit - Home Premium.

And before learning you had responded I had remembered that while my NVIDIA driver was up to date, I had rolled back my Intel graphics driver while working on a Beta of another program. I updated it to the most current and a lot of my problems cleared up immediately. Still a few, but I am sure it is my machine and not your program. I am due to do a complete reinstall as some of the various programs I have been doing Beta work with are finished and I've no doubt there are some leftovers hanging around.

I appreciate the clear message in the Video to READ the users manual as it has been very helpful in getting up to speed with this program. I look forward to picking up a full copy when the discount goes live.

Thank you for working with BDJ to provide us with this promotion.

rick corrigan Is it possible to use our own graphics to create absolutely unique video loops or are we limited to what the program provides?

Brian H Hi- Looks like a very fun & creative piece of software at a very nice, discounted price- as well as good licensing policy! So consider me "sold"! :-) BTW- I was noticing on your website you listed useful links and there is a program called "TVtool" that looked very interesting, but the link you provided for it on your webpage was a broken link. Is the product/company still in business or development? If not, any similar product(s) to fill the niche/void? Thanks! -Brian

Andrew Gibson Rick: You can easily edit the textures and images in the program to use your own. You can change colours and fonts and basically customize everything!

Louis H For Andrew, I just noticed on your Facebook page that you have been talking about V3 since last summer. Now that I have bought the discounted V2, is V3 going to be coming out soon? I did see where Major version upgrades will not have a discount, and I was just wondering what the time table is for V3. Thanks.

P.S. For other folks thinking about this one...... I would like to again confirm what the developer says in the video posted above... reading the manual is VERY helpful if you have problems getting this to run or figuring out how to use it.

Andrew Gibson Louis: You're correct we have been working on Video Fun Box 3 for what seem like an eternity! We're hoping to finish it by the start of next year.

Anyone who purchases the bitdujour deal today will be treated exactly like a normal customer. I.E. you'll get a 50% discount on V3 when it is released.

Guy User So I went to get the deal on this, but there only an eCD option?
This doubles what I pay, is there not a purchase software license option that I can use with the demo version?
Or an option to download the full version and email a license key?

Thanks.

Louis H Thanks for the info! I am looking forward to what you all have come up with for V3!!!

By the way, I was having a few additional glitches and then saw the info about some problems that can occur with the older NVIDIA drivers. So I went ahead and uninstalled my current up to date driver, made sure all traces were gone, rebooted, then reinstalled the current driver and now all is working well. It really does pay to read the manual!

Andrew Gibson Clive. The eCD is just an option you can de-selected it.

Andrew Gibson Clive just to clarify when you purchase with this deal, without the eCD, you will be emailed a download link to the full version of the product. If you purchase with the eCD option, you'll still get the download link emailed to you. However, you'll also get a CD of the program snail mailed to you.

Guy User I was confused by this at first, then I realized that was just an order option, thanks for the clarification.

All sorted now, thanks!

CodeDog Andrew, just bought this and have only spent about 5 minutes with it (enough to know I need to read the manual), but this is a very cool little program. A little heavy on CPU/GPU use, but who cares.

I do a fair amount of video work and am always dependent on buying stock motion backgrounds - no time to make my own. This is going to be extremely useful for intros/outros, as well as some in-video sequences. Great work on this.

Just a note. I am always on the lookout for software like this and own a ton of video/graphics software, and had never seen VFB till it came out on BDJ. You guys need to market this more.

Thanks for this find, BDJ, and for the offer, Jellypie...
