umike For a pricey software that is selling at a high cost of $300, the website looks unprofessional, more like a personal site. The website does not have its own domain name but uses a domain name that is selling web hosting called "sanwhole.com". Don't you think this software is suspicious?
Has BitsDuJour checked if this software is really OK to be installed in our pc?

Benjamin User umike@ I know this is suspicious, but we'd better just wait for explanation before to jump on conclusion. I am like you. But I already download and registered other product from them. What is Strange is that they are all FREE OF CHARGE.

Unless they offer some product on order to promote their brand new product to potential Customer. They might use this marketing technic to generate a Customer database that they will charge once the license time is finised.

umike @Benjamin User. Just be extra careful. All our PCs are connected to the internet. You cannot be sure what data is being sent out by the software you installed. Anti-virus can only detected malicious software but cannot detect any "legal" software that is collecting and sending out data from your PC. A good example is Microsoft software. There must be a reason why I was forced to upgrade to Win10 for FREEEEEE when I always click NO to upgrade??

Doris Ballard Sanwhole was offering some other software recently ... it was called "Vole Remember". It's a program which allows you to input material and claims to be able to help you learn it.

At the time, I went to the website, and thought it was a horrible mess. They were offering a number of other items, and it was almost impossible to make any sense of it. I don't recall if I was able to find the Remember program on their website or not, but I know that what I did find was confusing and didn't jive with what I was told I would find on their site.

I assumed that perhaps the seller was from a foreign country, and simply had a difficult time making himself understood in English ... but from what I'm reading in the comments now, I'm beginning to wonder if this fellow is on the "up and up" ...

Is it possible that the many and varied software he provides could be cobbled together from someone else's stuff? I don't know, but if this is normally $300 high end software, I'm surprised to see it on that site ...

It could be legit, but the site itself made me wonder back when I checked them out, and now I'm even more suspicious.

Elliot Sloane EVERY Vole product that I've downloaded has triggered an aggressive AVAST malware event, and the product is blockaded. What's up with that? NO other brand or product has such a consistent problem.

Constantin Florea @Daniel ., I am sorry about the issue with the 12 month period not being mentioned in the promotion page. It was an oversight: the vendor didn't specify this in the license policy when he submitted the product in our database and we missed double checking it in this particular case.

Doris Ballard @buynow User ... I think that it has far more to do with knowledge of various languages than what a person happens to have in their "inner depths" ...

... it can't be helped that "volé" happens to mean "stolen" in French, or that there's a furry little rodent called a Vole.

When you come right down to the software, however, the presentation, the explanation, the website, and the working of the software are what actually show a "real reflection". That people happen to take different thoughts away from their experiences can't be helped, since those thoughts are the reflection the "seller" is receiving from those people who have taken the time to check out what he's offering.

There was a song I heard way back in the 60's ... "The world is like a looking glass ... you get back whatever you send, think of this as you pass ..."

Doris Ballard ... simply put, we have not all had the same past experiences. Someone who has been cheated in the past will be more suspicious of others ... another who has installed software which gave his computer a virus will be far more likely to be wary of software that makes his virus protection warn him against a problem ... yet another who has had experiences with programs that do a bit more (*cough*windows10*cough*) than they're supposed to do will be far more leery of downloading and installing stuff which seems different, or not well explained, or even perhaps "too good to be true" ....

And then, there are some who've had no bad experiences at all, and who never look a gift horse in the mouth ... but they don't tend to remain that way for long.

We are all a product (a reflection) of the experiences life has thrown our way. We are not all cut from the same mold.
