- “The lectures were easy to follow. I used Eclipse and PyDev plugin instead of notepad and command prompt. There was one video that didn't play (can't remember which one). I have a programming background (C, C++, Java) so the syntax came easy to me. Wish there was more info about Django (I know this is about Python first and foremost). - “If you are just learning Python, I recommend this course. The instructor did a great job teaching some basic fundamentals; however, with that being said this course has some outdated material. I would take this course as a way to get your feet wet, but don't all these techniques in your day to day. For example, playing with sqlite3 is great but using forms to directly interface with your database is a big no no. I would recommend picking up a course on django or a solid web framework!
