Bob Feigel OK - I've been using this product for several years without a problem. So I upgraded to the professional version and have a paid license. The problem is that it suddenly stopped working and after months of trying your technical assistance can't get it to work. My OS is W8.1 64bit. So unless you're able to rectify this problem I've got to warn prospective customers that it won't work and you can't fix it. In the meantime, I've had to buy another program called Security Eye which does work - although not as well as ZoneTrigger.

HJ B 1. The website of zone trigger works very slowly.
2. I search for a pdf or online manual and could not find one.
3. When I think of motion detection software, I think of a security system, i.e., when the camera detect motion, it records the motion AND signals the fact of motion via an on-screen alert to local and remote devices, such as computers and iphones. I did not find anyplace that the bdj promotion or the ZT site discusses this.
4. The illustrations on the ZT website mainly focus on a scenario where the detection of motion triggers the playing of a presentation. E.g. the setup might be at a convention or store, and when someone passes by the camera, a screen displays to the passerby a promotional or educational video or slide show.

I hesitate to purchase this software because of a pendind user comment concerning its reliability and lack of support solutions AND because the developer does not appear to understand how to very well communicate software function and operation. The two online videos seem to assume an existing background knowledge by the visitor.

If there is a pdf manual that should be prominently revealed. Same for a comparison chart of the differences between the standard and pro versions. The Bob Feigel; comment deserves a reply.

I apologize for the bad experience you had with Webcam Zone Trigger. We did spend a lot of time together trying to figure it out, I remember that in late 2018 you had figured out that another App, CCleaner, had an bug that caused conflicts with ours. Fixing (or removing?) CCleaner has solved the issue with Zone Trigger.

Webcam Zone Trigger is quite reliable on a clean PC, and the free evaluation of the software is a good indicator of its compatibility for a PC, as it has full functionality. As you know, I am also available to fully support the software.

Webcam Zone Trigger is a "General Purpose" motion detection software, meaning that it can be used for security, but also it has a ton of features to do other projects such as interactive art, bird watching, quality control... If your motion detection projects deviates from home security, this is often the only software on the market that offers a motion detection solution :-)

From zonetrigger.com, we also provide "Media Zone Trigger", which is an solution that includes an interactive media player, and is designed specifically for display images/video on screen based on motion detection, but that is a separate product from this one.

The user manual is a PDF, and it is available within the software, thru the Help menu. The user interface of Zone Trigger is friendly enough to be easy to use without reading instructions.

Than you for your reply. I understand that the pdf manual s available once the application is installed; however, I prefer to know the manual basics before deciding whether to install an application.

1. Can you point to an online download of the pdf manual, or email a copy to me?

2. I have an Arlo camera security system. Will Zone Trigger work with that? Can both the Arlo and Zone Trigger software work simultaneously?

3. Will this software work with the internal cameras of HP and Dell computers?

4. What application(s) can be used to view the real time and historical captures on an iphone or ipad?
