zebNet An edition upgrade program is currently not available but we consider making one available in the near future.

There is a release notes section available at http://support.zebnet.co....notes.aspx but since this is a brand new product line that was released just a few days ago, you won't find a lot of information there.

Also, if you have a deeper look on the features section of the NewsTurbo.com website, you will find all the information you need. There is a menu on the left side that describes all the features in detail when clicking on it.

Furthermore, we have free trial versions available that can be tested completely for free for up to 30 days so there is actually no need in looking for reviews because during the trial period, you can decide if the product fits your needs or not.

VLM zebNet - Thank you. Yes, I see the trial, but the sale is today! :) And honestly, I'm more interested int he Pro version of the product.

I agree, the product is too new for release/change notes to have much impact. So I'll ask my question this way: What sort of schedule do you presently anticipate for future major upgrades (payment required)? I realize that any response you might give at this time would involve conjecture. But some companies are committed to annual major upgrades; others run a long time within a given major version, as a matter of preference, ethics, or the like. Where would you say your team is with regard to such matters?

Regarding the Features page, I just looked inside "Miscellaneous" and found a list of items. That is helpful. Thank you for suggesting looking more deeply via the left-side menu. I wonder what might have made that more obvious to me. Perhaps just a sentence at the top, saying "look to the left for more detailed explanations". ?? :)

FWIW, I do believe that most of your best, long-term customers are likely to be Pro customers.

VLM This is apparently a brand new product. The version for both client and server is 1.0.0.0. And in 4 places I looked (CNet, Download.com, etc.), no one has yet reviewed this product. Does anyone know anyone with experience using this product? Or is it just too new for that?

To zebNet - On your Features page at http://www.newsturbo.us/features, the last bullet says "And much more what you can't imagine right now". We shouldn't need to imagine. You should provide the information. I mean, if YOU won't describe your product in detail on its own features page, then who will?

I like the idea of running subscriber-based newsletters from a desktop rather than as a web-based service; I like that very much. But please, tell us ALL the features!

And if you really wish to do some good marketing, then create a comparison chart showing your features--in detail--against the features of 2 or 3 of the most popular web-based services in this category. Just a suggestion!

zebNet We have absolutely no intention in releasing annual major upgrades and that's the reason why we decided not to put a year in the product name.

If we had called the product e.g. "zebNet NewsTurbo 2014" we would be forced to release a new major version by the end of this year but that's nothing what we want.

Product life cycle for this product line will be something between 2 to 4 years.

By the way, management has just confirmed that there will be an edition upgrade program available within the next 3 weeks where users can purchase a higher edition of the product for the difference.

More questions:

1. Does your software somehow adjust the outgoing email, so that it can be read on any (or many) device? I think that's become very important.

2. Does your tool handle outgoing attachments? Are there any limitations in that regard?

VLM I think I just answered one of my own questions. On your comparison page, there is a line item "Can make newsletters online readable". Does this mean on diverse devices? Or just online, vs. inside an email message?
