S B This is a great app. Highly recommended.
It tests and reports your system performance in many ways: cpu, memory, hard drive, video performance, etc.--and each in several different ways.
After you benchmark your system you can store the results for later comparison. You can also very easily see 1) how it compares with other systems in general, 2) how it compares with specific or similarly configured systems, 3) whether it's performance is changing or has responded to some change or update, and 4) how "well matched" the parts of your system are.
The app has an on-line lookup and comparison mode that makes finding other benchmarks and making comparisons with them very easy.
On the several processors/systems whose Passmark benchmarks I've compared, I've found the benchmark really does reflect real-world performance surprisingly well.
I highly recommend this app.
