Vanessa N This is program for writers/creators (fiction, nonfiction, screenplayers, world builders, etc) that is highly raved about in the Mac world, so much so that its reputation preceded itself and people have been begging for a Windows version for years.
Scrivener for Mac will have its own major upgrade soon, but the beta version for Windows is finally being released in late October (in time for the famous National Novelists Writing Month in November), the final version in January or February.
So it will be available on both platforms now, and I'd love to pick up a Windows copy (was close to buying a Mac just to experience this). The equivalent to this in Windows world has been Liquid Story Binder, which has been offered here on Bits Du Jour, and which is also highly regarded, but while both programs are known for a high level of complexity (you get out of it what you put into it), it seems Scrivener could be possibly be more intuitive/easier to learn.
