David Hurley This is great software for fiction writers. The free edition is good, but does not allow for export to formats other than text and does not allow printing. Anyone serious about writing with this software needs the Pro edition.

Tommy E. Scrivener has no links between scenes and characters, locations, tags nor items. Furthermore it has no strands nor a chronological view. I'm not saying Scrivener is a bad tool, but for me the benefits of Storybook are clearly predominate. In Scrivener it will never be possible to have a mind map showing the relations as in Storybook. On the other hand, Scrivener has more text writing stuff, eg. text formats, where Storybook mainly is a plotting tool (at least for now).

GeorgeD I'm curious. I tried the free version until it stopped working. I liked what I saw. I'm willing to spend a few bucks for the full version.

Navin Joshi I tried few softwares but Storybook Pro seems to be a better tool. Scrivener for windows - unfortunately is still in Beta version and full version seema months behind. I would love to get the Storybook Pro...very soon...before 1st November when NaNoWriMo begings.

Isabel Alvarez I've started using novel writting tools for the NaNoWriMo and I have to say that Storybook is my favourite. Easy interface, very practical and perfect for a writter.

I would like the Pro version for printing, export and memoria tools and hope for an update with more writting tools like goals (would be perfect for the NaNoWriMo as yWriter5 has) and a part where you can write the story itself.

Cyn DV This software offers many of the same features as Write It Now, but at a much lower price. I'd like to see editing capabilities added, though - as well as a 'to-do' list that can be easily accessed at all times (which is one of the big draws of competitor StoryBox).

velia pola Using the free version so far and loving it. Exceptionally user-friendly. The features on Pro make it look worthwhile to upgrade at minimal coast.

Craig Duckett I'm currently using another similar type of writing software, and I think Storybook does a better job. I'm working my way through all the bells-and-whistles of the 'free' version and would like to upgrade to Pro. This is a nice, intuitive, user-friendly, thought-out product. Great job!
