a a Already have version 5.5 but this doesn't work on Win 7, so it would be great if you could get a discount on the Upgrade price of $99 as well.

a a I've tried VirtualBox and think it's very good, but there are some more complicated setups (with bridged networking) it can't handle yet.

Sami Mannila I have been using VirtualBox at home for a few years, as of late it has become really good, majority of the persistent issues have been solved and it's now a very stable and mature software.

However In my opiniopn VMware is still without a doubt better. Faster, better 3D support, more user friendly, and has some neat features, for example it lets you copy and paste files between your desktop and the VM.

So I really want to buy VMware, but the pricing is too steep for personal use. The company should really have different pricing tears for personal and commercial use. The price is hard to justify for personal use.
