Vanessa N A very nicely elegant and powerful web page/site downloader that is easy to use and doesn't have some of the quirks I've found in other offered downloaders (Surfulator, and the suite of website downloaders whose name I can't remember but is offered here frequently....). Some of the problems I've run into with the aforementioned programs is that trying to download large or entire websites would cause the program to take forever or stall (such that I gave up and would quit the process), and that even after being successful with a download, the pages/info/other links wouldn't display properly in the pane.
Granted I didn't necessarily need an entire website, but I was putting the program through its paces to see how well the above programs did at "downloading entire sites"....
With WebResearch, you can see a website's link structure and then download the associated/necessary web pages off the home page that you are interested in by checking off the ones you want. Since this is "research", the program's main assumption is that you are not downloading entire websites, but selective info and pages and desire a way to organize related bits of information and only download potential pages of interest. I've found, however, that you can download a large number of pages from a complicated web website without error or problems, and things do display as they should. I also find it intuitively more friendly than other programs.
Roger, I know you have a million software suggestions that you have to look into and contact all the time, but am just wondering whether you've ever contacted these guys and if there's any possibility of it being offered here.
Otherwise I'm getting quite close to paying full-price, as I intend on starting some major research projects/searches soon.
