Diplomatic-Pragmatic Korea and Northeast Asia

It is vital however that the Korean government makes an explicit distinction between trilateral engagement and bilateral engagement with any of these countries. A clear separation will minimize the negative impact a strained relationship between China and Japan can have on trilateral relations.
