Choosing the Best Single Oven Electric Cooker

To select the most efficient electric single-oven cooker, you must first evaluate your cooking needs and compare options. You should also consider the size, energy efficiency, and features to reduce your long-term operating costs.

Always consult a certified electrician before installing any large electrical appliances. Also, always adhere to the safety guidelines provided by the manufacturer.

1. Zanussi SZ601EX

Antonio Zanussi founded Zanussi, an Italian home appliance manufacturer in 1916. The company started by producing wood-burning stoves as well as ovens for homes before expanding to washing machines in the 1950s. In 1964, the Rex refrigerator was introduced the first refrigerator that had a separate -12C freezer section and an automatic defrosting.

Smart functions such as MATCH can communicate operations between the Magistar Combi oven and Rapido Chiller (and vice versa) to ensure a faster and more efficient kitchen workflow. Induction technology boosts energy efficiency and a low-noise venting system ensures that the work area is peaceful and quiet. Refrigerants based on R290 are less harmful to the environment, and have less impact on global heating than conventional gases.

2. Hotpoint HCO390

Originally part of General Electric (USA), Hotpoint is now part of the European company Indesit. The brand name can be used for other appliances in the home, such as fridges and washing machines.

Established in 1911, the brand has a fascinating origin story. The name is derived from the original Hotpoint Iron, designed by Earl Richardson and reputedly the first electric iron that had a central heating system. It also featured an automatic shutoff.

Hotpoint offers a variety of products designed to meet the needs and wants of tech-savvy homeowners. This includes a range of ductless mini-split systems that can be controlled by the SmartHQ home app and come with a 5 year limited parts warranty.

3. Indesit HCO390S

Indesit was founded in 1975 and was listed on Borsa Italiana and was sold to Whirpool in 2014. With eight manufacturing sites in Italy, Poland UK, Russia, Turkey and the UK, Indesit employs 16 000 employees. The products are sold under the Hotpoint brand and Indesit. Indesit' Ovens & Hobs includes EcoSense and Anti-Crease features that help reduce washing time and energy consumption.

4. Zanussi SZ601EX

The Zanussi company was founded by Antonio Zanussi in Pordenone, Italy in 1916 and became a household name by the mid-1940s. Electrolux is now the owner of the brand. The company grew during the 1950s with a manufacturing facility in Porcia and the creation of a design center. In the same decade, it acquired the Becchi Castor Zoppas Triplex brands. In 1964 the Zanussi brand introduced in Italy the first fridge with 12C compartments that were suitable for frozen food items - the "Supermarket Rex".
