Painter Mr Pearson Justin was a student at Bachelor of fine Arts at Byam Shaw School of Art in London in 1988. He was in residence at Long Island, U.S.A, and most recently in Mittagong NSW Australia. In Australia Justin's works have been submitted in his stylistic and distinctive oil painting portraits in the Sydney based Archibald prize at the Art Gallery of NSW.. Justin Pearson as an unofficial playful artist in residence at the English National Opera Theatre, Mr Pearson has spent many hours observing recitations from the stage wings, creating observational interpretations and developing his variety of theatrical concepts for paintings. Starting shortly after their marriage in 1924, Edward Hopper and his wife, Josephine (Jo), kept a journal in which he would, using a pencil, make a sketch-drawing of each of his paintings, along with detailed description of certain technical details. His wife Jo Hopper would then supplement additional information in which the subject of the painting are, to some degree, illuminated further. The four anonymous and uncommunicative night owls seem as isolated and remote from the viewer as they are from one another. (The red-haired woman was actually modelled by the artist's wife, Jo.) The Last Supper offers perhaps the most complete testimony to his multifaceted genius, urge to experiment and inexhaustible curiosity. In the period when he was working on the painting, the last decade of the 15th century, Leonardo was also busy with studies of light, sound, movement and human emotions and their expression. We find these interests reflected in the Last Supper, in which, perhaps more than in any other work, Leonardo displayed his concern to depict what he called the "motions of the soul" through postures, gestures and expressions.| VINCENT VAN GOGH: STARRY NIGHT Starry Night is one of the most easily identified pieces of art in the world. It is everywhere, too. It can be seen on coffee cups, towels, etc. Honestly, it sometimes feels as if the painting's fame has exceeded that of its creator. One of the biggest points of interest about this painting is that it came entirely from Van Gogh's imagination. None of the scenery matches the area surrounding Saint-Paul or the view from his window.
