Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can tell the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly and leaves no trace of it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't accomplish this feat. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, while not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is still an option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. These machines are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with various additional features such as smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be accomplished easily. It also comes with an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

And its vacuuming is impressive as well. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that does a really good job of collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up, simply connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near a power outlet and plenty of room for it to move, however.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is more subtle compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The main aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.

The sleek G30 has its flaws, though. best robot cleaner is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life, while providing superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be empty as often and has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
