Check out our Beem Espresso Grind Profession review for more details. Its bean hoppers that can be swapped allow you to experiment with different blends at the drop of a hat and its different profiles mean you can pick up exactly where you left beginning. Additionally, it's less costly than capsule machines and makes use of real coffee beans rather than pre-ground. 1. Smeg BCC02 Designed by Milan-based firm Deep Design, this sleek, compact and striking machine combines the distinctive retro style of the brand with modern technology. The machine can handle all the steps of the coffee-making procedure from grinding beans to the tamping of a puck and texturing milk before dispensed the right volume. The machine also features an attractive brushed aluminum front and comes in a variety of black, red or taupe, which means it's easy to integrate into most kitchen designs. It's not without faults, however. Many reviewers felt that it was a bit expensive for a cup to bean maker (and does not come with an ice cube). But there were also plenty of glowing reviews about the quality of the coffee and the ease of use of this machine. The digital display is intuitive and provides step-by-step guidance and feedback throughout the entire making process, allowing you to make your drink perfect each time. It will even prompt you to alter the grind size if it's not exactly right. It's almost like having a personal barista at home (minus Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility and Elon Musk's rocket-building skills). This model is perfect for those who enjoy milky drinks. The steam wand can be adjusted to the right and left to fit most drinking vessels, except Viking drinking horns. We were also amazed by the speed and efficiency at the way that the frothing was performed. coffeee.uk makes an excellent espresso, with great crema and a full flavour despite its compact size. The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and it provides excellent value for money at the current price of PS499. The only drawback is the fact that it doesn't provide the same level of customization like some of the other bean to cups we've tried. It's got a 15-bar pump rather than the more common 19 bar that aren't as efficient to make high-quality espressos. Other than that it's a fantastic bean to cup machine for those who like their coffee strong and black. Click here to view Lavazza's great deal. 2. There's also a convenient chute for pre-ground coffee in case you want to make your own (for instance when that nagging dinner guest brings their own). Users have also been amazed by the speed of the machine. They have said that it can make their drinks faster than other machines they've used. Another bonus is that the machine will notify you when one of its hoppers is about to be empty, so that you don't get caught out by running out of your favourite beverage. The price could be a worry for certain. This machine is priced at PS999. However, it's cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have the same number of features.
