The design was created by Milan-based company Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine combines the brand's inimitable retro style with modern technology. It is able to handle every step of the coffee-making process - from grinding beans and tamping them into a puck to mixing milk and dispense the right amount - so you can make barista-quality hot beverages with the click of a button.

The machine also has a stylish brushed aluminium front and comes in black, red or taupe, so it's a great fit for most kitchen designs. There were also numerous positive reviews of the quality of the coffee and the ease of using this machine. The digital display offers feedback and step-by-step instructions throughout the entire brewing process, helping you to improve your coffee each time. The machine even allows you to alter the size of your grind should you decide that's not what prefer. If you prefer drinks with milk, this model features an adjustable steam wand upwards and downwards to fit the majority of drinking vessels that aren't equipped with the drinking horn of Vikings. We were impressed by the speed and efficiency of the frothing process too. It also produces an excellent espresso, with a fantastic crema and full-bodied flavor despite its small size.

The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder that's quiet, effective and provides excellent value for money at the current price of PS499. The only problem is that it does not provide the same level of customization like other bean-to-cup machines we have tried. Its pump is 15 bars rather than the standard 19 bars. This is not as good for producing high-quality espressos. But other than that it's a fantastic bean-to-cup machine for those who prefer their coffee strong and black.
