How to Buy a Real German Driving License

Some lucky American expats are able to go to their local Fuhrerscheinstelle to get a German driver's licence without having to take the written and practical tests.

However, the requirements differ from office to office (and city to city) and can be very strict. Here's what you need to be aware of.
