TOTO Toilets Help Consumers Navigate the New Normal

The COVID-19 pandemic in the world brought an entirely new routine to people's lives. TOTO is leveraging its technology to help people navigate this New Normal.

Toto's culture is founded on the principle of Kaisen which translates to "perfection". Their latest toilet, the WELLNESS TOILET, utilizes advanced sensing technology to aid in consumer wellness.

Water Sense Technology

WaterSense-labeled fixtures for plumbing are EPA-approved and help conserve energy and water while delivering the most reliable, safe and secure performance. TOTO USA is proud to be among the first companies to receive the WaterSense label for our EcoPower flush valves and commercial flushometer toilets.

Our Aquia IV dual-flush toilet is a great example of a high-efficiency bathroom fixture. It uses only 1.28 Gallons per flush, which is less than the 1.6 grams required to meet EPA standards for an extended toilet. The Aquia IV features TOTO TORNADO FLUSH technology that reduces the frequency of bowl cleaning and the need for extra flushes.

Installing a showerhead with a low flow will reduce the amount of water you need for washing or bathing. Our high-efficiency Showerheads are WaterSense Rated and have the latest technology to ensure superior performance.

In a world where water shortages can be common, limiting water usage is important. TOTO's EcoPower Technology, which is found in the Aquia IV and NEXUS toilets, helps reduce water usage by using only 1.28 gallons of water for each flush.

TOTO's elongated toilets are also EPA-approved for high efficiency. They come with a round or elongated bowl with an height that is ADA-compliant, ranging from 17-19 inches. We also offer a compact elongated toilet which is ideal for tight spaces and uses only 0.9 grams of water per flush.

TOTO's bidets are among the most sought-after in the market for both home and business use. They're not only more affordable than toilet paper, but they also provide a better clean, leaving you feeling confident and refreshed. The NEXUS Bidet is made using our EWATER+ Technology, which is produced by electrolyzing tap water into an acidic solution that contains sodium chloride ions. This creates an effective disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses and other pathogens, while leaving your skin and the environment unaffected.

ADA Compliant

You might find the terms "ADA compliant" and "universal height", but not all toilets that have universal height are ADA compliant.

The ADA standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act are designed to be inclusive of people of all abilities and ages that include those with limited mobility or lower body strength. By incorporating these standards into their products, Toto ensures that their customers can get the bathroom experience they want with the added benefit of convenience of use.

TOTO's ADA certified toilets have a one-piece design that will instantly beautify any bathroom while providing a functional advantage over traditional two-piece models. TOTO's one piece designs simplify cleaning by removing the gap between bowl and tank. TOTO also features the highest-efficiency flushing system in their Eco UltraMax toilets. They are water-efficient and consume 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF) or less.

Two-Piece and One-Piece Designs

Many who have travelled to Japan speak of the efficiency and comfort of the Toto toilets that they use during their stay. Toto toilets are Japanese models that feature a one-piece design integrating the bowl and tank. These toilets are simple to clean and fit into small spaces. They are also very durable and can last for a long time.

The group Toto began in the early 1970s when members performed session work for a number of notable musicians. Keyboardist David Paich and drummers Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro as well as bassist Joseph Williams were all regular contributors to albums by Steely Dan[73], Seals and Crofts[74], Boz Scaggs[75], and Sonny and Cher.

Some of the band members have done solo work, as well. Vocalist Bobby Kimball released a album called From the Inside in 1978, guitarist Steve Lukather a second LP entitled Luke, and keyboardists David Paich and Joe Porcaro recorded an album with jazz pianist Miles Davis.

In addition to their music, Toto has done a great deal of touring over the years. In February of 2018, they released their 40 Trips Around The Sun anniversary album and began a world tour in order to promote it.

Central to TOTO's Total Design principle is taking into account the needs of everyone of all different ages and abilities. They have a range of Universal Height toilets and sinks that are easier for anyone to reach, even those with mobility issues. The WASHLET+ line of bidets has completely changed the experience of using the toilet from wiping to a stream of water. This is a much better alternative to paper towels and many people are now making the switch.

Noise Reduction

In the United States bathrooms are often near bedrooms. Therefore, toilets that are quiet are popular. TOTO's Washlet, a bidet seat that has an electric motor, is a great way to accomplish this. TOTO's toilets are described as "magical" because they have a rimless basin that requires only a little water and a powerful air spray that cleanses and dries the skin.

The humble toilet is also highly regarded in Japan which is an extremely proud country with a love for its technological advancements. ????? ??? come together in the country's Toilet Museum which was established in 1999 and was created to encourage people to think different about their toilet habits. The museum uses an electric motorcycle powered by poop to demonstrate that TOTO products are both efficient and environmentally friendly.

The museum also showcases the company's history of innovation, from the first flush up to the aeration toilet which uses less water and reduces waste by 90 percent. The Washlet is also on display in this area. It uses jets to clean and dry the user while obscuring the sounds of the toilet using bird-like sounds.

Before the formation of Toto members like bassist David Hungate and drummer Jeff Porcaro played on albums by famous artists like Steely Dan Seals and Crofts Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher. David Paich, the keyboardist was a regular session musician for artists like the Eagles, Larry Carlton and Quincy Jones.

In the years following Toto's debut album group struggled to develop a successful sound and underwent numerous changes of members. Hungate eventually left Toto to pursue his own career as a solo artist in Nashville in 1980. He quit the band because of a lack of time for his family, and a growing addiction problem. In the end, the success of the band was dependent on the talent of Lukather and keyboardist Steve Porcaro.

Comfort

The toilets of TOTO have been created with comfort at the forefront. This means that they come with many features that make using the bathroom more enjoyable. They include heated seats, for instance that keep the user warm. They also have automatic lids that can be closed and opened to provide added convenience. They also have self-cleaning technology which keep the toilets clean and fresh.

When looking for a TOTO toilet it is crucial to know what you should look for. There are numerous models to choose from and it is essential to choose one that comes with all of the features that you need. To find this, you'll need to know the model number and SKU of the toilet. You can find this information on the product packaging or on the internet.

Before beginning the formation of Toto, members of the group did session work for various well-known musicians. David Paich, Steve Lukather and David Hungate, along with drummer Jeff Porcaro, were regular contributors to albums of Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. They also contributed to Boz Scaggs and Sonny and Cher. In 1980, they formed Toto together with singer/songwriter Joseph Williams.

The band began to tour extensively after the release of Toto IV. In 1985, Fergie Frederiksen's vocalist was dismissed because he was reportedly having a difficult time blending with the rest. Toto released Fahrenheit in 1986, a year after recording Fahrenheit.

The album was an artistic departure for the band, incorporating elements of jazz and gospel. It wasn't a commercial success in North America, but did well in Japan. In 1987, Toto played the Montreux Jazz Festival and continued to tour. During this period, bassist David Hungate quit the band to focus on his session work and music production career. He was replaced by guitarist/vocalist Steve Lukather.
