World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage. For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will take on 3damage to attack each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value). The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases. Components Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be used. In contrast to other mods components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the back items that are not ascending. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns. An upgrade can include a suffix or prefix, modifying the name of the equipment with which it is used (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods. A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of an armored weapon or. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop or obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other gear. The player can have a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a better-quality version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of the extent to which it will improve after a future reset. Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a high possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break when it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give the player a bonus if they are reinserted. Glyphs Glyphs are upgrade elements which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, which includes any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15. You will often find in the final game that placing Glyphs is the most effective method to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster. Glyphs, the only upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most commonly used. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced using a Black Lion Salvage Kit. The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the Glyph. Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the various Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs to be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts. After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus which will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph. Utilizing the Glyph can boost all nodes that are connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids, for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also consider placing them near their critical damage nodes. Leveling item upgrader upgrade system allows players to increase the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is commonly known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level. Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item. When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced by a new item of the same type. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own bonus. This can be a downside in that the item could be more expensive even if you do not require it. If the player has enough tokens, they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a base of level 1 and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, but it's not something that should be repeated often, as it could waste lots of resources. Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item is extremely useful in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of its non-upgraded counterpart. Requirements Item upgrading allows players to boost the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency and items to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements. All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to revert back to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades. If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, an increase in heal over time or speed of reload). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure. When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs. The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For instance, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade. Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. However, players must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade requires the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
