Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Choose models that allow users to select between different types, including self-emptying and clean stairs. Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes. 1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour. When I tried the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rugs. The S1's docking station automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be cleaned, although it will differ based the amount you use the mop. The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos. 2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station if required. This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences. The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station as required. 3. Dreame X40 ultra Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved. The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. web cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards. Its navigation is intelligent, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge margin over obstacles. This could lead to missed spots. web is intuitive and easy to use. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls. 4. Roomba Q5 Pro Robot vacuums are excellent at picking up dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to pick up dust in corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine. The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by eliminating the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body. The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system to allow hands-free operation. Its mops also impress, with a 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance. 5. K10 Plus K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The K10 Plus also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot can recognize carpets and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
