Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.

When I tested the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without issue, though it occasionally had trouble navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. automated vacuum are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled whenever required. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up most of the debris, and even smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can get stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good, with a pair spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is a great choice on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one area to another without changing direction which is a great feature for homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can result in missed spots.

The app features a simple, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. However, you will require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app as well as external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up debris and dirt however, it's not able to be able to reach every piece of dust. robot vacuum cleaner cheap is why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to clean dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart application that lets you choose your floor's type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums are unable to. It also collects more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
