Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up messes. The top robot vacuums and mop I tested had great mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It is equipped with the latest features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few buttons on the screen to control the device manually.

The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

It's got a host of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. You can even use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with mops, but comes at a lower price than most of the competition.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.

It is important to remember that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your space. Additionally the object detection is unpredictable; it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip itself over to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an appliance that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.

This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust a variety of settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.

Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing and staying clear of stairs. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums on the market. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, or alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are close to soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are empty.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your space and knows which areas to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

It also comes with other standout features, including an automatic emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. budget robot vacuum

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this little robot is a good choice. It has a wide range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet, and it's able to move around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it isn't able to pick up knotted rug tassels and it's battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It also offers a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in smaller areas. It's extremely silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also excellent at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and not connected to your account.

It does a great job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
