How to Program a New BMW Digital Key

The brand new BMW Digital Key is a technological breakthrough that transforms your smartphone into a key. It is able to unlock and even start the car with NFC without a physical fob or key.

Key Fob Replacement

If you're a car proprietor you've probably heard that your key fob is essential for using your vehicle's remote start or Comfort Access features. You may not know that the key fob for your BMW can be replaced in case the need arises. If you have an older model that has an replaceable battery, you can remove the backplate and switch out the small CR2032 battery (also known as a watch battery) inside the fob itself.

These batteries can be purchased at your local large-box retailer or hardware store. You can also find them on the internet.
