The Keith House is an 18th century mansion that has remained almost unchanged since it was built. The town also has several tranquil parks, including Lukens Park and the Horsham Power Line Trail.

The town's prosperity was built on industries such as brickmaking, brewing, and iron-smelting. The town still has a strong manufacturing industry, even though some of these industries have gone out of business to exist. The Horsham branch is owned by the pharmaceutical company Novartis. It was once part of Ciba-Geigy. The RSPCA has a base in Horsham as is the British television station ITV.

Horsham is home to a number of independent shops and restaurants and also some large chains, like Costa Coffee. The town is home to a large number of students and is a popular spot for young people to reside. The town has several railway stations, including Horsham Crawley, Horsham, and Christ's Hospital.

Horsham is the heart of Jeremy Quin's electoral constituency that was created in 1983. The Bishop of Horsham is a resident of the borough of Horsham and is responsible for most of West Sussex, as well as some parishes located in East Sussex and Kent.


Bromley

Bromley Little Theatre has been showing local talent since 1938, is a different venue.

The borough also has 14 libraries, of which one is the central library that is located in the town's center. The central library is home to a large book stock with wifi and internet access, as well as an information library and a local studies department. It is run by Greenwich Leisure Limited under the trademark "Better" on behalf of the borough council.
