Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair with lightweight durability and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to carry. It also stands on its own when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability: Yes and with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).

A good suspension with air-filled tires can help you to handle rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, but you must wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old before doing this.

Ickle Bubba XL Air

This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba comes with a variety of features that parents will enjoy. It is an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair and a selection of a group 0+ car seat, so you can get everything in one package.

The XL Air is a really impressive car and it's simple to understand why it has received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light-weight with the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It is also very easy to assemble. I was able to get it up and running in just five minutes - which is amazing considering that it includes the fabric for the carrycot to be attached.

It has a nice, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very simple to use. The basket has plenty of space, and I like that the handle bar comes with an area to keep your keys and phone secure.

The only slight downside is the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for taller parents. But, it's covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that is soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, making it still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest trails. The front wheel can be locked and can be rotated to allow for greater flexibility. The stroller also comes with five-point safety harnesses with a front bar that keeps your child safe during all journeys. The parking brake keeps the stroller in place as you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad.

Whether you're going for short jogs or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner is ready to accompany you on your journeys with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold up to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.

Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a little more difficult to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on either side of the push bar). The handlebars are a bit higher than those of some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for taller parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and adaptable and should be considered by families with active children.

three wheel pushchair is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which prides itself on making well-designed and no-fuss parenting essentials. It's the latest and most expensive version of their bargain light stroller collection. It's also as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable which means you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design touches such as the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims that make it stand out from its competitors. The car seat and stroller fabrics are stylish in tan, grey, and cream. You can also choose to add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to complement.

It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat can easily be converted from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with multiple lie back positions, softly padded leg rests and comes with an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a through flaps and an adjustable sun visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold down, using two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that you can click into and out. Then, it will pop up.

three wheel pushchair ,

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it more agile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two children - an infant and an eight week old - over rough terrain, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.

The wheels that are puncture-proof are large with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm which means they can handle all kinds of terrain. The wheels have a flap that can be shut or opened to let more air in when needed. It's a little larger than some pushchairs but does not feel heavy or bulky when you are pushing it over bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable, and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable with it on busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points so you can attach parasols and footmuffs and also changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram but you can add their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom. It took about 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it to the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

No matter if you prefer running in the morning cool air or a nighttime stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a memorable one. This stroller that is all-terrain designed to keep you and the child engaged.

The large foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires give you a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The suspension system is patented and allows you to glide effortlessly along trails in the woods, while minimizing impact on the legs and back of your child. The performance disc handbrake allows you to stop quickly even while running on an uphill slope.

From bustling market stalls to street musicians performing a tune, the Ridge can navigate all your city's most popular scenes with ease. The large basket can accommodate all your essentials and market purchases, while the massive canopy offers sun and wind protection. The large front canopy unzips to reveal two peekaboo windows that make it easy to monitor your little one's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose whether your child is facing you, or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it intuitive for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar on the back is a fantastic feature that lets you adjust it according to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike many jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy's new pushchair is truly revolutionary, with lots of features that are likely to impress parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a revolutionary LED Visibility Hub Light that's an industry first. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board, which saves on future costs and makes it easier for an exhausted toddler to join you on family outings.

The Core can be purchased in a single unit or as a complete travel system. it is compatible with the most popular car seats made by brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It also comes with the largest seat unit in the iCandy range, meaning it will last you through your baby's initial years and beyond. It's a gorgeously constructed pushchair, and it has premium knitted fabrics. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's detachable bumper bar are made of soft leatherette, while the folding calf support folds away and is super comfortable for children.

I was amazed by the ease of fold and collapse. It only requires one hand, even with the seat unit in place. It is also easy to fit into your hallway and boot which makes it ideal for travelling. The iCandy Core comes with lots of additional accessories, including a rucksack with a color match and a liner/footmuff.
