Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session and can lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. vacuum bot can just leave it in place and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The high price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. best robot vacuum cleaner boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to select this option you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and debris on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area that this device maps or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

One of the biggest flaws of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
