Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists

Category a1 rules are for those who wish to ride small motorcycles. These vehicles have a capacity of cylinders up to 35 kW. They cannot be derived directly from vehicles that have more than double their power.

Open category drone operations are divided into three subcategories, namely A1 to A3. You can fly current drones with class labels C0 or C1 within the A1 subcategory (fly over people) until January 2024.

A1

Category A1 is one of the three EASA drone categories and applies to aircraft that have a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of up to 25 kilograms. It requires a log of flight and a flight plan as well as remote identification systems and a geoawareness. The drone must be within sight of the pilot at all time. It is not allowed to fly over individuals or areas used for recreational, commercial or industrial reasons. The drone should also remain less than 120 meters above the ground level.

If harmonogram egzaminów a1 are planning to fly a drone that is not included in the categories above, you'll require a special licence from the Civil Aviation Authority. This is referred to as an operational authorisation. Here you can learn more about how to apply.

Candidates for an A1 licence must have at least 16 years of riding two-wheeled motor vehicles. They must also have completed the mandatory basic training and pass both a theory and a practical test. Moreover, they must possess a valid medical certificate.

A1 license holders can drive two-wheeled mopeds, as long as their cylinder capacity is no more than 125 cc, and their power to weight ratio is not greater than 0.1 kW/kg. They can also drive motorcycles with the maximum capacity of 125 cc, as well as trikes and quad bikes as well as quad-bikes.

The category A1 driving license is designed to facilitate access to the next vehicle category, which allows holders to drive vehicles with a maximum permissible mass of up 35 kW. This is a reason to gain some experience driving vehicles with less power before moving onto the higher category of licence.

Drones that are in use but do not have the CE mark are able to be flown under subcategory "A1" until January 1, 2024. They are safe and pose no significant danger to the general public. However, they must be at a distance of 150 meters from buildings or industrial areas, as well as recreational and recreational zones. Additionally, they should not fly over crowds or operate within 5 kilometers of airfields or airports.

A2

If you've completed your CBT training and are seeking a motorcycle license, you may be eligible for a category-A1 licence. This permits you to ride an unrestricted motorcycle with no sidecar. The vehicle must have a maximum cylinder capacity of 125cc, as well as the maximum power output of 11kW. You must be at least 16 years old to get this license. Online viewing of your driving licence will allow you to know more about the categories and regulations.

You can also fly drones with an maximum weight of 4kg in the A2 category, but they must be kept at a safe distance away from people during take-off and landing. The drones should be at least 30m horizontally away from people when they are in low-speed mode or 5m if they are not in use. You must also complete the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC) test to fly in this class.

If you're planning to fly larger drones, you'll need to apply for an operator's license in the particular category. This requires you to complete the General VLOS Certificate training, the flight test, and then prepare an Operations Manual. The application process for a specific category permit is very similar to that of the PfCO and you can learn more about the requirements in our comprehensive guide.

The number of lessons you will require depends on your ability and learning progress, but a prescribed amount of special rides should be completed. This is a minimum of five-hour lesson on country roads and four on highways and three at dawn or in darkness.

A3

This category permits flights with drones with a maximum take-off mass of up to 25 kilograms. While it is a lower risk operation, strict precautions should be taken to reduce potential incidents. A distance of safety of 150m is required from residential, commercial, industrial and recreation areas. harmonogram egzaminów a1 requires drones be equipped with an identification system for remotes and Geoawareness System.

The tier is also split into sub-categories, A1, A2 or A3. The A1 subcategory allows flights that involve uninvolved people and is exclusively reserved for drones with a Class identification label C0 or C1. It requires a minimum of 30 metres from any third party when flying at a height of flight or 5 meters in slow flight mode.

Drones that have a Class identification label C2 may be operated in subcategory A2 in the event that the drone is in compliance with the dimensions required and the remote pilot is able to pass an additional theoretical knowledge exam. This exam is designed to allow the remote pilot to evaluate their understanding of the operational and technical mitigations to address the additional risks of flying bigger drones (class A2, less than 4kg mass) close to people. The certificate of ability to fly Category A2 is given upon successful completion of the test.

Due to the lack of certified drones in this category There are transitional arrangements that allow non-certified "legacy drones to operate in categories A1 and for two years following the new EU regulations are in force. The IATF-EID and DOH's National Immunization Technical Advisory Group will be reviewing and approving the guidelines prior to being finalized.

Drones bearing the C0 or C1 may fly within 50 meters of those who aren't involved in the incident. This is a category with low risk however, strict safety precautions are required to reduce incidents. Drones classified as A1 or A2 must take an additional theoretical test before they can operate in this subcategory.

This examination aims to assess knowledge of the added dangers of flying drones close to people.
